Hotel is good overall, staff is very helpful, helped to find painkillers in the middle of night which I appreciate greatly. The transfer booking situation was confusing though. Firstly, the transfer one-way costs 7,080 INR, which is 5 times more expensive than Uber Black, while car quality difference is negligible. Secondly, hotel just couldn’t record my transfer reservation. I reached to hotel via email to book one right after hotel reservation itself. When I checked at reception - they said no airport drop transfer is booked for me, so booked it again at reception desk. Afterwards, one day before departure I receive another email offering me to book the transfer, again. When I was checking out, the airport drop transfer was not in the bill again and it felt like receptionist didn’t book it and they just gave the available taxi car that was waiting in front of the hotel. The whole transfer topic really tainted the whole experience, don’t understand what’s so difficult to note down the transfer request next to guest name/room in the system. Transfer price itself is also ridiculous. They offer it for 2,000 INR but only if you book two of other services like spa, laundry or early check in/late checkout. And smoking balcony on 6th floor could be more comfortable, at some point they removed the couch from there and smoking area felt like prison.

We had an absolutely fabulous two-night stay at Grand Mercure Bengaluru at Gopalan. From the warm welcome to the thoughtful personal touches throughout our stay, the entire experience was wonderful and truly deserving of five stars. A special word of appreciation for Malisha from Reservations, who was exceptionally kind and gracious in upgrading us to a Superior Suite with a terrace. This thoughtful gesture made our stay even more special. Manan at the Front Desk handled our check-in seamlessly and professionally, while Prerona from Guest Relations was wonderfully friendly, warm and welcoming. At the restaurant, Bira took excellent care of us, ensuring we were comfortable and well looked after. Our heartfelt thanks also go to Chef Sathish, Chef Ayush and Chef Mahesh, who went out of their way to cater to our vegetarian dietary restrictions for both breakfast and dinner. The food was absolutely delicious, and we genuinely appreciated the care, attention and effort that went into making our meals so enjoyable. We also had a great experience at the Fifth Central Executive Club Lounge, which added another lovely dimension to our stay. The Lounge Team was also very courteous and friendly with great service. What stood out most was the genuine warmth of the staff and their willingness to go the extra mile. It is the people who transform a good hotel stay into a memorable experience, and this team certainly did that for us. A big thank you to Malisha, Manan, Prerona, Bira, Chef Sathish, Chef Ayush, Chef Mahesh and the entire team for making our visit so special. This was an extremely well-located and comfortable stay. The hotel is beautiful, from the entrance and rooms to the all-day dining restaurant. The service was amazing. The reception staff, housekeeping team, and restaurant staff were all very friendly and warm. They were always ready to help with any questions or situations. The rooms were beautiful and very spacious, and the bathrooms were clean. There were enough toiletries provided every day, and the housekeeping service was excellent. The food was also amazing and very tasty. I loved every single thing about my stay! The location is another big advantage. Very nice stay and food and service. I really love the library !! Breakfast buffet was really good and chefs are very thoughtful and friendly. In the reception Ms. Prerona was really good and always put a smile on her face. Very well maintained.

It was a comfortable stay. Very well maintained hotel and neat and clean room. I specially loved the food in the restaurant in the breakfast. The people's are really nice and chefs are preparing food with so much details and the chef Ayush was very friendly with us. I love to visit again.
