Not worth 12k per night. Room is congested. Dinner closing time is 11pm and we went at 11.20pm to get one gulab jamoon but one of your employees at desk has given rude reply. When you are taking 12k for one night, at least you can try to get one bloody gulab jamoon or you can politely say that it is not available. I am sure, no one from my company will ever visit IBIS Bangalore again.

A few things stood out during our short stay: • The Positives: The morning breakfast was easily the highlight—they had a really great, extensive spread with plenty of options. Another huge plus was their flexibility; our flight got delayed on the checkout day, and the staff kindly extended our checkout time until 1:30 PM upon request. • The Negatives: One slightly annoying thing was that they insistently asked for immediate card payment the absolute moment we arrived at the front desk. This seems to be a recurring pattern with the chain, as we encountered the exact same upfront card payment demand last year at another Ibis property in Bengaluru. We also faced a few minor service delays during the day, though to be fair, it was completely understandable since they were handling a massive wave of checkouts at the time. It’s a perfectly fine, reliable option if you just need a hassle-free place to stay in the area, especially with the solid breakfast to kickstart your morning.

I would like to bring to your attention a very disappointing experience I had with the service team, which I believe requires immediate attention from the management. Negative Experience – Invoice Request & Customer Handling On 7 October at around 10:20 PM, I called the hotel regarding my invoice. A staff member named Naman attended my call and clearly confirmed that the invoice would be sent to me within 15 minutes. However, I did not receive the invoice even after waiting. I called again on 8 October at around 10:30 AM to follow up and shared my experience with the staff member who answered the call. When I asked for her name, she kept the phone aside for approximately two minutes without any communication, and then came back and stated that her name was Aishwarya. Given the way the interaction was handled, I was left questioning whether the name provided was genuine. More importantly, keeping a customer on the line in silence for such a long period instead of professionally addressing the concern is unacceptable. The issue here is not simply the delay in receiving an invoice. It is the lack of ownership, poor communication, and the way the customer was treated when following up. This experience has been disappointing enough that my colleagues and I are now reconsidering booking with ibis in the future. A simple invoice request should never result in this level of frustration. I request the management/feedback team to investigate both interactions, review the relevant call recordings, identify the staff involved, and take appropriate corrective action. I am happy to share the call recordings/details if required. I sincerely hope this feedback is taken seriously and not treated as just another complaint, because experiences like this can directly affect a customer's decision to return to the hotel. Positive Experience – Restaurant Team At the same time, I would also like to highlight an excellent experience I had with the restaurant team. I ordered a dosa, provided my table number, and waited for around 20 minutes, but the order had not reached me. A staff member named Aditya happened to be passing by, and when I explained the situation, he immediately took ownership of the issue. He went to the dosa counter and stayed there until the dosa was prepared, after which he personally brought it to my table. Another team member, Disha, proactively came to my table and asked if I needed anything. I requested tea, and she promptly arranged it for me. This is exactly the kind of customer service that makes a difference. Aditya and Disha demonstrated ownership, attentiveness, and genuine willingness to help, without making me repeatedly follow up. For the amount I paid, I genuinely appreciated this level of service and believe their efforts deserve to be recognized. I hope the management takes appropriate action regarding the first incident while also recognizing and appreciating employees like Aditya and Disha, who are setting the right example of customer service.
