The rooms were clean, well maintained, and the hotel is well located in an affluent part of the city. We appreciated the early check-in, and staff were polite and courteous throughout our stay. Room service was helpful and responsive, which added positively to the in-room experience. Breakfast at The Verandah Restaurant offered a good selection of both local and international cuisine, which we enjoyed. However, there were noticeable communication gaps that detracted from the overall experience. Several emails went unanswered, including an initial enquiry regarding Accor Plus/ALL Plus benefits, despite the hotel seeking clarification on our check-in / out arrangements. We had a unique situation where we booked two nights but needed to check out late on the first night (not staying the second night) due to a late-night flight. This was clearly communicated prior to arrival via email, reiterated at check-in, and acknowledged by the front desk. Despite this, reception later called my wife to reconfirm, followed by another email to me, and at checkout the Guest Services team was still unaware of our planned departure. This resulted in repeated and frustrating explanations to multiple staff members, with arrangements needing to be reconfirmed several times. Despite email confirmation, the bill was not ready as advised, and even the concierge required a second follow-up after a 15-minute delay with no proactive update from reception. Additionally, although we paid for two nights, only one Accor Status Night has been credited. This is the first time in the past 12 months (with over 50 nights stayed, including other Accor properties in Bangalore) that no room upgrade was offered. Overall, a comfortable stay, but the level of coordination and loyalty recognition did not meet expectations.

I spent a blissful 7 days here and everything was absolutely perfect! From their GM Mr Parag Shah to the entire Front Office staff and their restaurant chefs and crew - everyone took incredible care of me. Their breakfast buffet is to die for, their lunch and dinner was no different- By the Blue is a surreal dining experience and the hotel’s Koramangla location is A+. Courtney airport pick ups and drop offs, laundry service and whatever else your heart desires - no request was beyond reproach! I cannot wait to return and am already planning my next stay. Thank you to the entire Grand Mercure crew who made me feel like part of the extended Accor family - absolutely brilliant in every way imaginable.
