I booked this hotel for a business trip as it was somewhat near to my office. From the pictures I found online I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is situation is a very quiet residential area, so no sleepless nights because of traffic and car horns. The hotel is well maintained, the staff is very friendly. The restaurant offered plenty of options both in buffet and live cooking. Everything I tried tasted great. I didn't get to experience everything this time, but did walk around and the gym and pool area looked well worth a visit for next time. The room was spacious and a nice bonus is that you got your own kitchen with some simple cooking facilities. Pretty sure I will visit here again on my next business trip.

The location was good but there were several issues: My booking was for a suite with balcony but at check-in I was told that no rooms with balcony are available. This should be communicated beforehand. Seems very petty that you are trying to sneak a cheaper room and charge a higher price. There were a lot of mosquitoes in the room and as a guest it is ridiculous that I had to deal with them myself. Lastly, the managers at the breakfast buffet need to be attentive to all guests, not just a few select senior guests. I had to repeatedly remind them about my order while they directed all their attention to just ensuring two guests got everything they asked for immediately. As a regular at the Taj, I believe a lot more training is needed for your managerial staff in terms of hospitality and communication.
