I have been to different Accor hotels across India and I have received exceptional level of hospitality considering being a Accor Platinum membership. But here at Ibis Hosur Road it was very cold. Didn't get the level of hospitality which was expected. Everything else was fine.

Firstly, Big shoutout to James from Housekeeping department who stood out amongst dozens of other staff with his desire to excel, precision, focus on detailing and commitment towards his work. I feel, IBIS HOSUR has this one asset that they must reward. Regarding the overall stay, I feel, long stays turn into revelations and begin to tear reality from branding and perceptions. Though the brand positions itself as smart and young, it still brushes past the feeling of “I like the place” and lands more into “I don’t mind exploring other options as well” easily. While I could be odd one out but I believe the property is weakly poised to host guest travelling with kids. While being in a city of you g hustlers while that May not be the prime focus, I feel, a lot of young working parents should find that support from Ibis that really turns into a brand with a statement. There is a big opportunity lying there to turn into a helping hand. From curating a healthy flexible menu for kids (than the junk of fries, burgers and mac n cheese) to giving laundry benefits to kids clothing. An assurance of “you are not alone in this” would be a big pat on the brand back. Apart from the kids thing, I felt the restaurant needs some much needed management attention. The tables never had spoons as if it was some priced possession and kept safely somewhere. I kept asking for the spoons or kept looking on other tables. While there is a lot that the restaurant offers, the menu displays a few basic things and it’d be luck if you can think of something and magically that is something that restaurant would provide. All the staff was however courteous right from the security to housekeeping. The quality and maintainance of the property was good. I would say the food quality is good but the overall restaurant end perception makes it feel overpriced as compared to the satisfaction it provides. In today’s times, there can be inclusion of better soups, salads and healthier food options round the clock. Cheers n Looking forward to nicer and more stays with Ibis Hosur.
