The rooms are comfortable & view great over the river. The breakfast is good but the hot food is always cold. The dining area carpet is disgusting with all the stains. Why hasn't it been cleaned?

Room is comfortable with everything you need right downstairs. Bed is on wheels so need to be careful not to dive on and by far the biggest inconvenience is not being able to hdmi to the TV in the room which is just a complete deal breaker for me so I won't be back even though generally everything else was pretty good.

Upper floor corner room was superb. Clean, spacious, great views. Didn't opt for complete breakfast buffet, but it looked good. Continental breakfast option was enough for us.

We booked a year ahead and were really happy with our Deluxe River view corner suite. It had an amazing view on the 22nd floor. Check-in and checkout was seamless. The hotel is next to the stores at Uptown and there is a Coles supermarket and BWS conveniently close. We enjoyed our weekend here.

We probably chose one of the busiest Brisbane City weekends with the beginning of the Brisbane Festival. As a result, the hotel seemed to be full, and staff did well to try and stay on top of everything. We had a spectacular view of the fireworks from our room overlooking the river. Nice touch of handing out fairy floss in the reception area.

Booked for Brisbane Riverfire, the corner room was the perfect selection with a clear view of a good amount of the river and Southbank. Location is extremely convenient being right next to Uptown and Queen St Mall, short walk to the casino and multiple bridge access to head over to Southbank.

Booked 10 months ahead, promised our room, then moved down 14 floors We had previously stayed in a lovely room at this hotel and enjoyed it so much that, when checking out, we rebooked the same room for Riverfire 10 months in advance. We specifically asked for that room and were assured by the staff member that it was secured for us. Leading up to our stay, we received an email advising that our automatic check-in was complete and there was nothing further we needed to do, so naturally we believed everything was confirmed. When we arrived, however, we discovered we had been moved 14 floors lower, with no prior warning or explanation. What was even more disappointing was how the situation was handled. Staff and management were rude, dismissive and showed very little interest in resolving the problem. We were simply told there was no instruction on the booking regarding our promised room. So either the staff member who assured us the room was secured failed to record it, or our room was subsequently given to someone else without informing us. Either way, that is not something the guest should be expected to simply accept, particularly after booking 10 months ahead for one of Brisbane's biggest events. Mistakes can happen. What really determines the quality of a hotel is how they respond when something goes wrong. A sincere apology, an explanation, some form of compensation, or even a genuine attempt to make things right would have made a significant difference. Instead, we received none of those things. We returned because our first experience here was excellent. Sadly, after the way we were treated this time, our opinion of the hotel has completely changed.

We loved our stay at Ibis Styles. It has great staff who are friendly and look after you. The food was amazing with such variety. The only thing that would make the stay better is having a toilet brush in each room. I like to keep the amenities clean and couldn't do so as there was no toilet brush. I had to use toilet paper to clean it.

Cant sleep well. Loud music til after midnight from neighbouring irish pub.

I have stayed at Ibis Styles Brisbane a few times this year. I was upgraded this stay and had a room with a fabulous view over the river. My stay did not disappoint beginning with easy and courteous check in. Clean and comfortable room and good food that I got as take away from the restaurant. The hotel is close to the mall and walking distance to Central Station. Check out was prompt. Perfect place to stay. Well done Ibis Styles Brisbane.
