With 63 renovated Design bedrooms on the theme of the Equestrian World in a historic building in the City of Saumur, our hotel is ideally located opposite the train station, on the right bank of the Loire, and a 10-minute walk from the city center and castle. We have a private, paid and secure car park available on reservation. Free public parking is located 100 meters from our property.

Another pleasant stay. Friendly helpful staff. Room well located for my needs ( I bring a dog ) on the ground floor near the exit to the car park which I requested. Overall a good and easy stay. Only annoyance is the fee was taken from my account prior to arrival and again on arrival which I will have to ensure is returned by the end of march. This didn’t happen on my last stay so hope it’s not a mistake and I’ve been double charged

We arrived at around 11 a.m. and parked the car in the secure parking. We returned mid-afternoon after visiting Saumur and its impressive chateau. It is a pleasant 15 minute stroll across the Loire to town, with a great view of the chateau, from the hotel. We stayed in this hotel before, in 2013. It was excellent then and nothing has changed since (except, if I remember correctly, the parking wasn’t secure back then). The room and bathroom were spotless. This time our room was at the back. Last time it was at the front. Zero noise from the street or from trains, front or back. We got a good night's sleep. Breakfast is excellent, top quality fare. Staff are friendly. There was a water fountain near reception dispensing fizzy as well as plain water. We will definitely be back!
