The beds were comfortable, the staff were helpful and friendly, the shower was hot, the room was clean, the breakfast was delicious, the WIFI worked. Being unfamiliar with Saumur we particularly appreciated having a safe, secure parking place right behind the hotel and we felt that this was well worth the reasonable fee we paid. The central location of the hotel meant we could walk easily to the restaurant district of town and enjoy a meal and wine without having to drive. We could also walk to many of the attractions such as the tank museum and the Chateau.

This my second time to stay in this hotel in Saumur . It was a perfect stay just like the first time. I received a warm welcome when I arrived my request to use the parking and charge my electric car was dealt with efficiently and easily. The bedroom was spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was very good with lots of variety. I set off the next morning refreshed and my car fully charged.
