Hotel was in a good location along the banks of the La Loire with stunning views of the city of Saumur and it's castle on the opposite side. The rooms were spacious , clean and tidy. Breakfast was a delight being a mixture of continental and English. The staff are very pleasant and helpful with a good command of English. Would highly recommend.

The Mercure Au Bord Loire in Saumur is our favourite Mercure Hotel - we have stayed 2 or 3 times each year for approx 3 years now. Wonderful location, peaceful, and very well-maintained hotel. The staff are all extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful and professional. The rooms are very comfortable and well-equipped.
