As a Platinum customer I was fortunate to get a room upgrade whcih enhcned our stay. Friendly prompt service with a late chekcout made our stay very comfortable.

We stayed at the Playford prior to catching the Ghan. Our huge room was beautifully decorated in art deco and the bathroom products were luxurious. Our room was exceptionally well serviced during the day. We ate at Luma one night- an absolute delight. The Bomb Alaska was a truly delicious experience. I recommend having breakfast at The Playford. There were so many options! Plenty for the carnivore and also a variety of fruits and a Bircher muesli for me. Coupled with the excellent location, The Playford was one of the highlights of our trip.

We stayed two nights to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary. The staff were all excellent and friendly. We found the bed to be too soft, and they arranged a roll-away bed that was a little firmer.
