Once we asked about a pillow they give you an actual proper one compared to phony ones supplied which gave vertigo and neck pain.

Look, the hotel is okay, very basic and can't ask or think there'll be much more. I'm just not really happy with my trip because of how I was not made aware of a $200 security deposit needed as I normally just swipe my card or tap my phone. So I was put right on the back foot with 0 empathy or pre explanations, it was just all about taking my money and getting back to standing around. Didn't dare ask for help even though they helped with bags and it was awkward to say the least. Room card didnt even have my name on it so i did not feel valued at all. After all that I didnt even stay or want to eat the breakfast or any food. Upon leaving my wife wasn't even allowed to wear the bath robe to the car because she was cold and didnt pack a jumper so they made her stay in her sleeping shirt which is not something to be out in public in but they didnt seem to care. Then I had to take my own bags out on the trolley just because I had enough and wanted to leave. So overall, I did not feel welcomed, I did not feel like I was valued at all. I felt like an inconvenience and very akward for my stay. Safe to say I think I will be choosing elsewhere from now on, as I used to love the Playford but maby after the renovations its more about the money then people?

The hotel is in a very convenient location and the rooms are very well appointed. The check in was seamless and the staff are amazing and really make this hotel something special. The only downside was the temperature in the room could not be changed and seemed to be stuck on 22°C which made it very warm for a western facing room. Had I been staying longer I would have contacted staff to change this.

We stayed in a suite on 6th floor and absolutely loved the size and comfort and luxury features of these balcony rooms. Location is perfect and gives access to the best of Adelaide. Most importantly the staff were all warm and friendly and made our stay a memorable one. Will definitely be back.
