Excellent accommodation, professional staff, excellent food and restaurant, well located and very convenient to public transport etc. Will definitely return and would recommend the hotel to friends, family etc.

27th March, 2026 Unfortunately, a fault in the air conditioning system in our room resulted in a persistent, intrusive noise throughout our overnight stay. The problem was reported to reception in the afternoon, but the receptionist said that she was unable to change our room. Sleep was virtually impossible, and a written complaint was submitted in the morning. Derek from Maintenance arrived shortly after the written complaint was submitted. He was very considerate and competent and was able to explain the problem. He set about fixing it immediately and went out of his way to ensure that we were not charged for our sleepless night. Alex in Reception was also very helpful. We would certainly choose to stay at the Rockford Hotel again in spite of this unfortunate experience. Our room was very clean and well laid out, and the service provided by Derek and Alex was commendable.

Very comfortable, good service, I called early to ask about whether we can store our luggage at the hotel before we check in and the receptionist offered to arrange an early check in by prioritising our room for cleaning and on the day we were able to check in 4 hours early which worked well for us. They also lent us an umbrella on request as it was raining during our stay.
