Disappointing stay overall i'm afraid - awesome welcome and staff - but with the bar/restaurant closed and being a Monday night it was less than ideal for a single female traveler especially in the location of the hotel. Room 21 was great amenities and layout wise - but with water pipes running directly behind the bed headboard, there were constant and loud disruptions on and off all night. There was also an issue with payment upfront - not the hotel fault i don't think ,as Flight Centre though my company travel group should have paid -= but this is getting resolved and hopefully credited directly back to my credit card. Will still stay again - but be clear to request another room and also not on a Monday night

An OK experience

Nice hotel room and good location. With a single lift, arrived at the same time as a busload of elderly visitors, had to use the stairs, would have been nice for staff to offer a free drink at the bar or similar while we waited for the lift. $30 is about average for hotel breakfast but the range and freshness available was poor. Coupled with that the same busload of elderley were also there for breakfast meaning long lines to the single toaster and coffee machine. I ended up going to a cafe for breakfast instead.

A little disappointing. Booked hotel to chill and relax, pamper myself and some things didn’t meet standards. Really need to upgrade to smart tv with Netflix. Nothing on Foxtel channels to watch. I had to watch stuff on my phone. Air conditioner wasn’t powerful enough to reach bedroom. Restaurant and room service wasn’t operating on a Sunday Had to get in and out of spa to turn on and off. Customer service great Breakfast yummy

The staff are lovely and very helpful. When I arrived I was told the kitchen was closed on the Sunday and Monday nights- not helpful when you don't know the area. I went to the dining room on the Tuesday to see if I needed to book to be told there was a large group staying for the week and the kitchen and the dining room was closed to others and no in room service. In 7 days I could not eat at the hotel! Not happy.

Check in started with clumsy exchange and room keys that did not work. Bar was closed because it was Monday. No mini bar. Only option to find somewhere outside the hotel for a drink. Next night Tuesday bar open but no food as restaurant had a private function, again no option but to go searching for food after a long work day. The room, two inadequate pillows only. Bed side tabletop lose and clunked every time someone touched it.Shower screen banged violently no matter how careful you were. Two small thin towels.

We have stayed here before and enjoy the location and the spacious and modern rooms. The underground in house parking also suits us very well. Staff are friendly and check in is swift. The room we had this time was smaller than previously but still a good size, the only down side was the furniture in the room was very old and needed updating compared to the room we had before.

Family of four holidaying in Adelaide and surrounds. We stayed 2 nights then returned at the end of our holiday as to first stay was so Comfortable, accommodating and clean. Helpful friendly staff. Lovely accommodation in the heart of the city.

The rooms in this hotel is very spacious and clean. We enjoyed our stay. The only problem in staying in this hotel is that there is no parking unless you book the limited parking available in the hotel which is in my opinion costly.

A lovely hotel which was very central to the CBD. Spacious rooms and reasonably quite considering the location in the "party" district. Check in was efficient and we were allowed into our room early and breakfast had a good variety. Staff were very helpful

Although this hotel stay was pleasant and quiet, it was lacking in a number of areas 1. Recognition of status as a Diamond member was almost non existent. I was given an upgraded room but it was not really what I would consider an upgrade given the room location 2. Breakfast was just poor. You could order a plate of hot food e.g bacon, scrambled eggs (not choice of type), a sausage and a hash brown with a slice of toast. There was no other choice for hot food and if you wanted a Barista coffee you paid extra along with other items. Not really up to normal Novotel standards
