Rooms are fine, however the bar / restaurant provisions are sub standard. Could not get a coffee 2 of the mornings I was there, and there is an extremely limited selection available from the bar of an evening for a drink

We had an ok stay and have stayed at the hotel before. Breakfast choice was quite limited due to COVID I would assume. We wouldn’t eat there again. It was “ok” previously but you can get far better value in a local cafe. We stayed in room 220 which was nice but suffered badly from noise from the nightclub next door. I’d advise anyone not to stay in this room. We stayed on a Thursday and Friday night.

One night stay in a renovated room - very comfortable bed and pillows. Stayed in a standard room which was very spacious. No min-bar in-room due to COVID restrictions but 2 bottles of complimentary water were much appreciated. Happily recommend!

Limited food and refund

The room was well equipped and of a reasonable size for a small room. However, the limited food available from the restaurant downstairs was not great at all as well as the quality of the food. Finding out how to pay and being told it can be charged to the room service at the end of the meal was a surprise, and not a very good one. Furthermore, the deposit for the room has still not been returned after over a week which is not acceptable.

Firstly I would like to complement James on Reception for his exceptional service and interest in your guests. Our room was lovely, and quiet. Location is good, though very noisy at night. We had a room at the back of the Hotel so it didn't worry us too much. The main negative feedback is around your food and beverage offering. Breakfast was appalling, particularly for a weekend. I know hotels have had a rocky road with COVID closures and new regulations for food service but seriously, juice boxes on a Sunday morning, at a Boutique hotel, in the Restaurant. That was really poor. It is not a way to entice people back to your hotels. Eggs, which had to be served by the hostess, were really poor and there were only two people serving. Tea and coffee in paper cups? Also really poor. Breakfast was so bad on the Sunday we ate out on the Monday morning. I know there are new rules around serving food but your approach is really inconsistent. Having someone dish up eggs and hot food and then having everyone milling around the coffee machine and toaster does not make any sense. When we got to the Restaurant there were just tables full of uncleared juice boxes, it looked like a kids' party venue. We ordered room service on the Friday night from a really poor menu and were told they were out of chicken tenderloins at 8pm. There is no incentive to eat in the Hotel and any food outlets, cafes and restaurants are a hike.

Clean room, well located central to the city, polite staff... Although the $30 dollar voucher was supposed to only be used at the restaurant, which I can't understand, we were allowed to use it with in room dining service... The limited in room dining service menu was disappointing, would of liked more of a variety... We weren't explained what time breakfast was and what time it finished and neither did it say on the in house instructions, so that was also disappointing

We stayed as part of the Great State Experience, we had previously stayed at another location but decided to try Rockford. We were pleasantly surprised at the size of our room, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was pleasing also, the highlight was definitely the shower pressure - amazing. The only negative was the breakfast, very underwhelming for the price. Very surprised to have to use paper cups for tea and coffee and to have to use a self serve machine.

Was a lovely room and everything was clean. Didn't hear much noise from the clubs which helped us have a good sleep. The bed was also really comfortable. We ate dinner at the restaurant down stairs, the food was great and portion sizes were perfect. Had difficulties with the parking, as we had already parked in the Wilsons car park prior to collecting a ticket from the hotel we had difficulties getting out of the car park as the machine kept saying that we didn't have the entre data on the ticket that the hotel gave us.

Family of four holidaying in Adelaide and surrounds. We stayed 2 nights then returned at the end of our holiday as to first stay was so Comfortable, accommodating and clean. Helpful friendly staff. Lovely accommodation in the heart of the city.

The rooms in this hotel is very spacious and clean. We enjoyed our stay. The only problem in staying in this hotel is that there is no parking unless you book the limited parking available in the hotel which is in my opinion costly.

A lovely hotel which was very central to the CBD. Spacious rooms and reasonably quite considering the location in the "party" district. Check in was efficient and we were allowed into our room early and breakfast had a good variety. Staff were very helpful

Although this hotel stay was pleasant and quiet, it was lacking in a number of areas 1. Recognition of status as a Diamond member was almost non existent. I was given an upgraded room but it was not really what I would consider an upgrade given the room location 2. Breakfast was just poor. You could order a plate of hot food e.g bacon, scrambled eggs (not choice of type), a sausage and a hash brown with a slice of toast. There was no other choice for hot food and if you wanted a Barista coffee you paid extra along with other items. Not really up to normal Novotel standards
