À big thanks to Alex on front desk and the manager who organised a room change. Originally I was in Room 411 - a beautiful room in my usual preferred spot of high up in a hôtel. Unfortunately, the roof works and jack hammers meant I could not do any work or get some sleep after a 3am start to the day. I was then transferred to 102 - a suite in fact. It was lovely and quiet. The room was very spacious although I’m sure you know it is badly in need of an upgrade. Still much appreciated the transfer. Thank you sincerely.

I stayed for nearly a week to attend a conference at the Convention Centre. The hotel is handily located and walking distance to the conference and CBD which made life easy.

Noise from adjacent construction site until 2:00am when I asked to be moved to another room, which was then beside the adjacent building’s noisy HVAC units. So I checked out early and found other accommodation for the remainder of my stay in Adelaide.

Our room was well presented, and comfortable. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, the roof works were heard through the walls of our room (310) on level 3, I assume were jack hammering. We stayed two nights, Friday and Saturday night. Not knowing the region, I was unaware of the night life in the area on these nights. Disappointingly there was very limited noise cancelling from the outside even on the 3rd floor. As a result, our sleep was severely impacted until around 5am both mornings due to the noise levels of intoxicated people on street.

Disappointing. First room smelled of paint. Second room TV didn’t work. Had to move tv from the first room. Not told about lack of onsite parking or roof works until after it was too late to cancel without penalty. Completely misrepresented online. Not told about lack of water on for a day until the day before. Shocking overall experience. Won’t be giving it another chance.

Last of my nights I slept without air con and was ke up to smell of sewer Turned air conditioning on and it was ok

The bedding was discussing there were alest 20 stains on the bedding the spa water was a blue colour not clear the secret cost of the parking because i thought parking was in the included

The staff and the room were very pleasant, and the bed was comfortable. BUT the noise from the clubs surrounding the Hotel went on till 4 in the morning. Even with noise-canceling headphones playing white noise, the vibration still came through. I was lucky to get 2 hours of sleep. This goes on year-round, even during the week, but longer on weekends. The council is not interested in curbing the noise, even though the hotel has complained many, many times.

Rooms have been "refurbished". My room, it was a good size, however, the A/C didn't function well and there was gyprock dust on the carpet, possibly from an attempted repair from water leak (water stains on the ceiling near the curtains). The bathroom has had a touch up, but the screen for the shower isn't big enough and the bathroom floods while shower is in use. It was suitable for a few nights and close to restaurants and the CBD.
