Breakfast - variety good but tea water was only warm. Waffles seem like just bought ones. Nothing special compared to other hotels. Dinner was very overpriced. $30 for simple pasta is too much. In the hotel room - clean and nice. Minibar selection small. TV casting instructions need more explanation. HEADBOARD DANGEROUS when the king bed is split into two as the protruding light fittings are lined up with your head.

We stayed 2 nights and appreciated the complimentary room upgrade. I have feedback on 2 elements 1. The information mini bar menu has a price of $2 for coffee pod. Thankfully I had some of my own. I've never previously stayed at a hotel that has a pod machine in the room and seen a charge on the minibar menu. 2. Not sure if I read the vibe correctly there seemed something odd at breakfast on Sunday. The door greeter was a Caucasian woman with rosy cheeks. I gave her my Platinum Accor card so she'd know the brekky would be included. She then acted as if she was going to charge me. I then pointed out it was a Platinum card and she said "You confused me with the card". I find the wording odd as I'd presented the card as a cue to assist her. The wording she used was definitely "you confused me.." She didn't tell us that we could request a complimentary barrista coffee (told that next morning by a different greeter), and said we could order eggs but not how. We subsequently asked at the pass for eggs and the cook advised we can ask the waitstaff. He happily took our order there.
