2 night stay with my partner and my 8 month old sold, night one food was delicious and we were super eager to order night 2, night 2 was a disappointment shoe string fries were cold by the time they arrived to us and the carbonara was extremely salty and the taste was completely different to night one. Night one we went in the pool that was supposed to be heated but was quite cold it took us 5 minutes just to get in and our body accustomed to it

However, we’re genuinely sorry that your experience on the second night did not meet the same standard. Cold fries and an overly salty carbonara are certainly not what we aim to serve, and we understand how disappointing that must have been, especially after such a positive first evening. Please be assured we will share your comments with our kitchen team to ensure greater consistency. We’re also sorry to hear that the pool temperature did not feel as warm as expected. The pool is heated, but we understand that comfort levels can vary, particularly when visiting with your little one. Your feedback will be passed on to the relevant team so this can be checked. We truly appreciate you bringing this to our attention and hope we’ll have the opportunity to provide you and your family with a much more consistent experience on your next visit. Overall the stay was fine but the service was not great. On the first day of our stay we didn’t have any water for the whole day and had not been warned ahead of time or during check in so we weren’t able to plan accordingly. The check in process was not great. We came in late with a crying baby and I think there could have been some support done to help facilitate and ease the process for us. I think the acknowledgment of membership in general and membership perks as well was not good (in fat inexistant) and is much much better in other hotel groups. I don’t think this is really reflective of a “5 star”. What is nice about the hotel is the location. The rooms were also comfortable.

Regarding your membership, please note that your status was recognised at the time of check-in, which enabled us to extend a complimentary 7:00am early check-in, well ahead of our standard 2:00pm arrival time. This was provided to accommodate your early arrival and as part of your membership benefits. We regret that your arrival experience did not feel as smooth as it should have, particularly when travelling with a young child, and we will continue working with our team to ensure warmer and more proactive service. Charged for coffee at breakfast despite being told it’s included

Being assured the item was included and then charged without clarification is understandably frustrating, and this is not the level of transparency or service we aim to provide.
