Excellent experience, perfectly positioned to wedding function, everything we needed in the room to prepare for the wedding and relax at the same time, Bob's service is exceptional, greatly appreciate the ability to checkin early so we could do all things necessary to make it to the church before 2 even with all the Cricket activities, love the late checkout

Initial check in was great. Dougie was friendly and offered a great restaurant suggestion for dinner. My initial room was atrocious, small, overly noisy fridge, constant sound from outside air conditioning unit and pigeons roosting on the window ledge and air conditioning unit. I asked to be moved to another room and receive a very rude and combative response. I was eventual moved to another room which was much larger and quieter. I later found out that our company pays a 'premium' to ensure staff get better rooms. This obviously did not happen until I complained.

Overall satisfactory, but with a few things in the room, 336, that could do with attention. The bathroom, which looked new, has not been well installed. The bathroom door hits the shower door; the shower door doesn't fit properly; the tap sprays water over the edge of the basin; the sink plunger doesn't hold the water in and a heavy guest has used the toilet roll holder as an assist to get up, so it's bent at an angle. There was a lack of information and instruction regarding the air conditioning; we couldn't alter the temperature. There was no separate recycling bin in the room for paper/cardboard. It was good to have the option not to have the room serviced every day - this is never really necessary.

The fan was noisy and the room was hot with no way to control the temperature. The bed was uncomfortable and moved around the room because of the wheels on the bottom. The room was generally clean overall.

I enjoyed staying with you. I am an older person and I was travelling on my own, could not have asked for anything more. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms very clean. Hotel is in a great location, was easy for me to get out and go for walks. Didn't get to use the trams or train but station and tram stop very convenient.

The bed and pillows were really comfy (to the point where i lifted the sheets to check what the brand was), and the room was a good size. Friendly staff at checkin. The buffet brekky was good with a lot of different choices and a good coffee machine. I got a meal delivered to my room, the lamb cutlets with cous cous and it was delicious top class food. The location is excellent in the city, with a free tram stop out the front or otherwise walk to shops or restaurants easily. The only negative is that the room smelled like it had once been a smoking room that they had sprayed something in to try and mask it but i could smell both and it was gross (until after an hour or 2 when i adjusted and didnt notice it).
