great location, parking facilities were terrible for people who own a family car or anything bigger. Rooms were okay but fairly dated felt claustrophobic as room didn't have window that could open or could see out off

While I was most pleased to read you found our location to be ideal, close to the CBD; it was disheartening to read the room features and parking was not up to standards. Unfortunately, our building being close to 100 years old has a different layout compared to modern day hotels. Our standard rooms are internal rooms that unfortunately do look out onto a brick wall/light-well and depending on the time of day don't get as much natural light. I am sorry the room did not meet expectations; however, I can assure you the other room categories are different and not all the same. I am sorry that on this occasion we did not meet full expectations, but I assure you the areas of concern you have raised will be follow-up by our hotel management. our room was upgraded, hallways did smell a little musty and the bed was on wheels which didn't lock so bed was moving alot anytime we sat on it.

Great stay, staff were professional and helpful Unfortunately room was ridiculously hot and the first night wasn't comfortable, they offered us fans at reception when i mentioned how hot it was on day 2 and that got us through the second night better. Breakfast was great as always!

The 'air conditioning', or rather the 'non air conditioning' is a concern. Luckily we could open the windows in our room and get a breeze.

My only complaint, though very minor, was that on the first morning, I woke up to find a rather large cockroach on its back on the bathroom floor. I understand that bugs exist, so am not personally upset by the situation and positively I could see that pest control had been used in some form as it was dying, However, it did leave a strange feeling to see a large cockroach in what was an otherwise very clean room.

We visited Adelaide for a family staycation post Lockdown. The location is close to Rundle St Mall and opposite the Casino. A tram stop outside the hotel is very handy. Although current Covid-19 restrictions are in place throughout Australia, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. Yes. The building is character but the rooms we stayed in were renovated.

We booked for the location, and it did not disappoint. The checkin was great, the carpark, although quite small for a large car, was still convenient and easy to access. The staff were friendly and happy to answer any questions. The room was spacious and a real surprise. The bed was comfortable and the balcony view interesting.

I booked a room for a night, for a stay-cation in Adelaide. The room was very clean, and the bed was supper comfortable. It's walking distance of the museum, art gallery, Botanic Gardens and Zoo so it was perfect as a base to explore Adelaide from. Thanks for a great stay Mercure Grosvenor, I will defiantly be back.

Unfortunately, when we have isolating guests in house we have hotel policies and procedures we must follow while you're isolating even if you're an essential traveller, we as a hotel must follow and oblige the policy to only serve food in take away style. This unfortunately means not only serving food in take away containers but also means we must serve drinks and cutlery in plastic/paper. Our guest and staff safety during COVID-19 is our main priority to eliminate the spread of this virus. I am truly sorry that your experience with us was not what you hoped for. Hi there, like I said, it was a Good location, & Very clean! We were staying here for our 13th Wedding Anniversary! There were a couple of minor pitfalls, although the staff were amazing, especially Amelia, whom went out of her way to be of assistance to myself & my wife!

We were quite pleased with the accommodation up until my partner went to have a shower, she reached for the tap and as she turned it on she bumped a disposable razor that had been left resting on the hot and cold water taps (from the last people to stay in the room i assume) it then lander on her foot. It was a bit sickening to think what could have been on that razor especially during these cautious times and we hope the housekeeping staff will be more vigilant when cleaning the shower next time. Other than that, we found the room great and fit nicely in our budget.

I feel compelled to do a review but please note that I don’t normally do these. I was in ISO for the week of my stay. I would like to say that, under the circumstances, I quite enjoyed my stay. Most importantly, all the staff were just fabulous and I would like to reiterate that they really looked after me. Nothing was too much trouble. I thank each of them sincerely for that and always look forward to my stay in the Adelaide CBD - more so now. See you hopefully in a few weeks on my next trip.
