Very nostalgic as I stayed there many times from 1948 to 1959. Our room was clean but old! Beds extremely comfortable. Trouble with TV. We got new batteries for remote but the tv sound was too low. We couldn’t hear tv from beds., we found a wire hanging bottom of screen which we pulled down and the sound was better. I appreciate the bathroom very dated. My only complaint was the tiles on the bottom of wall in shower recess need a dam good clean.

Desk staff were very friendly and accommodating, location very convenient, room was satisfactory and pleasant with only minor noticeable wear and tear i.e. carpet stains, but it did not negatively impact my stay at Grosvenor Adelaide
