First night I could hear ambulances, trams all night with what felt like was about to crash through the paper thin windows.

We are truly sorry to hear that your stay was impacted by external noise and that this resulted in such a poor night’s sleep. We understand how frustrating this must have been, particularly when travelling for business, and we regret that the room environment did not provide the comfort you expected. Your additional comments regarding mould concerns raised by your colleagues and the overall first impression on arrival are also very concerning to read and have been shared with our housekeeping and leadership teams for immediate review. While we appreciate you acknowledging the assistance provided by our team in arranging a room move, it is clear that the overall experience fell well short of expectations — especially as a valued Gold member of Accor. This is not the standard of stay we aim to deliver. Thank you again for your honest feedback. Don’t recommend. The room was upgraded to a Superior room. I would hate to see what a standard room looked like. Room was smelly, stains all over the carpet, shower was dripping water at full blast and an unusual smell from the drain. Never going there again.

Close to Adelaide CBD, the Grosvenor is well located a. is a charming old building. The rooms are a little small in the lower price bracket, but you get what you pay for. An extra chair would be nice!
