Our stay at the Ibis Hotel offered a mixed experience. On the positive side, the hotel was exceptionally clean and featured a fresh, modern atmosphere, while the room—though smaller than average—was efficiently laid out with a comfortable, mid-to-plush bed. However, several operational and technical issues detracted from the visit. The check-in process was sluggish and could be significantly improved by moving to a digital, advance registration system instead of manual paper forms. Inside the room, the placement of device chargers was inconveniently far from the bed, and the Wi-Fi was exceptionally slow, making it impossible to stream anything on the smart TV throughout our entire stay.

The room layout is as expected and exactly the same as elsewhere in the world. Very clean as expected. What makes this one special is the amicable stuff, especially the lady at the front desk (Malu?) who has been helping me with like directions, recommendations, as well as exchanging larger notes to smaller ones. Yeah she's made my trip so much more pleasant 😁

The breakfast buffet was good and the staff were great. The location in Milaflores was walking proximity to restaurants, shopping and the Pacific Ocean. The historic center was a close taxi drive. Milaflores and Baranco were clean and safe for walking and provided entertainment for all.

We stayed 11 nights at Ibis Reducto. The first day we reported that the light on top of the mirror was not working. They said they would fix it but it never happened. The bathroom vanity was clugged and we had to report it several times before they fix it after 5 days. The maid would take our pajama sets from under the pillow when he/she was fixing the room and never returned it where he/she found it but threw them on the bench by the bed. That would happen every day.
