I stayed at the Ibis Hotel in Miraflores because one of my cousins recommended it. It was a good call. The hotel staff were all nice and competent. The rooms, though small, were well appointed, though I couldn't figure out the TV. (I didn't come to Peru to watch TV, so that wasn't much of a problem.) The WiFi worked without issue, and most IMPORTANTLY, the room had an adequately sized safe. Overall, I felt that for the rate, the IBIS Hotel in Miraflores was a very good value. There was one issue, though unfortunately its a common one these days in even the best hotels. Bed bugs. (I have experienced bed bugs in Hyatt hotels in the past year as well, so the presence of bed bugs appears to be all to common, and without an easy solution.) My overall experience at the Ibis was so good that I booked a week at the Ibis in Cartagena later on this trip.
