I decided to book the Pullman Hotel, having never stayed at one of their properties in the past. Upon checking in, the member of staff behind the front desk gave me one of the warmest welcomes I have experienced in a hotel. Although check-in was at 15:00 (and it was only 12:00 - so I made it clear I was happy to wait until 15:00), an alternative room was found for me and I was allowed to check in. Having flown in from the UK that morning (and having had little sleep!), this was a huge bonus! In addition, I was told I was being upgraded to one of their executive rooms, which was a very nice surprise! The room itself was very tastefully decorated and very spacious. As you would expect, it was immaculately clean and had all of the facilities you would expect from an executive room (e.g. coffee maker, plenty of towels, etc.). The double bed was large and the mattress was very comfortable. One thing I particularly liked (which might sound odd!) is the fact that the hotel does not provide bottled water in the rooms. The system the hotel has, where guests fill glass bottles then carry this back to their room, I thought was far better, as it meant I could go back an unlimited number of times to get more water. As we were experiencing a heatwave in Europe during my stay, this was very much appreciated. I imagine this also saves the hotel a lot of money, as when plastic bottles are provided, hotels often have to throw away half-empty bottles of water, which is neither economically nor environmentally sustainable. I was also really pleased with the hotel's spa facilities. It was a massive bonus to have this in the hotel and even better that they were free of charge to access. The only slight issue was that during my stay, the steam room didn't seem to be working, however the saunas were nice and relaxing. I also thought the opening hours were good - the fact it was open until 22:00 meant I could have my evening meal out, then relax in the spa for a bit before bed. There are a couple of hotels I've stayed at previously where the pool/spa facilities close much earlier, and I never feel I get the enjoyment out of them as I feel 'rushed' using them. The breakfast buffet was also really nice, consisting of hot and cold options as you would expect. I noticed that staff were regularly replenishing the hot items, which was good to see. Although it's something the hotel can do much about, I thought the location was excellent. The fact it is situated a couple of minutes' walk from Nordfriedhof U-Bahn station was a huge advantage, as this provided easy access to the city. This was one of key reasons I chose to stay at this property, as I knew I was going to be using the U-Bahn a lot to get round. If I were to provide some constructive criticism, the only slight annoyance was that tea/coffee making facilities were not replenished as quickly as I would have hoped. I went down on one of the evenings to request some more milk the next day. Despite housekeeping servicing my room, they decided to remove the coffee creamer from my room and provided no additional milk, which I thought was odd. Luckily, the member of staff manning the bar, who was very courteous, provided a jug of milk for me which was a very kind gesture! Overall, I thought this was a brilliant hotel and, for the price, excellent value for money. The fact that this place was advertising rooms for under £100 (albeit without breakfast) was excellent, considering the standard of rooms and the facilities offered by this hotel free of charge. I only became an ALL Accor Member prior to my stay to get my room at the discounted members rates however following my stay at this property, I will certainly be retaining my ALL Accor membership and will be looking to book another one of your hotels when I next go away. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others!

Overall, our stay at the hotel was pleasant and satisfactory. I would especially like to thank your team for making the birthday guest feel special on his birthday. It was a very thoughtful and lovely gesture, and we truly appreciated the attention. I would also like to share a few comments that might be helpful. The parking situation could certainly be improved. There are very few spaces available, and we often had to go down to the lower levels in search of a place. Unfortunately, even there, the availability was quite limited, as the nearby businesses seem to occupy most of the parking area. The two spaces next to the columns are particularly difficult to use, as there is hardly enough room to get out of the car comfortably. The breakfast was good overall. I particularly enjoyed the option of preparing tea yourself in a proper teapot - the Earl Grey was absolutely delicious. On one of the days, I requested housekeeping and asked if slippers could be provided. Unfortunately, the slippers were not brought to the room. As a result, walking around the room left all my white socks noticeably dirty, which was a little disappointing. The tea supplies in the room were also not replenished, although perhaps this is not included in the standard housekeeping service. Apart from these minor issues, we had a pleasant stay. The staff were consistently welcoming, friendly, and helpful, which made a very positive impression.

Stay was OK but not to usual standard of room

The rooms we had were very nice, however the air conditioning didn't work. When we asked about this at reception, we were assured it would be fixed whilst we were out. This didn't happen. We enquired again and were told that we should just open a window instead, despite their being a sign on the windows saying do not leave open for safety reasons. We were told that there was nobody to look at the AC issue, despite us having 2 more nights at the hotel, and that they wouldn't do anything about it. This matched the general experience we had with staff around the hotel, who were generally unwelcoming and unhelpful. This is the first time I have experienced this with an Accor hotel having spent weeks travelling around Europe and having positive experiences.

It is not acceptable that the air conditioning in your room went unrepaired despite repeated assurances, and that instead of a genuine solution you were simply advised to open the window. This should not have happened, particularly as you had two more nights with us, which was more than enough time to resolve the issue. We are equally sorry to hear that you found our staff unwelcoming and unhelpful. This is not the standard we aim to uphold and we understand this made your overall impression especially disappointing after weeks of otherwise positive experiences travelling through Europe. We take your feedback very seriously and will be discussing it internally with our team, both to improve how maintenance requests are handled and to ensure our approach to guest service reflects the standard you deserve. I enjoy staying at Pullman quite a lot, I was disappointed to hear there was no possibility to have a Cappuccino with oat milk at the breakfast machines. Even after asking it was not possible, that's a pity as this is being provided by most hotels at this time.

We had a wonderful stay at Pullman Munich Hotel. We were very satisfied with our experience. The hotel offered an amazing deal, making it great value for money. I hate the worst experience the stuff were rude to me this is not my first time to this hotel everytime i come to munich i stay in it but after this stay it will be the last.. when i came to the hotel i asked for help she said i am alone... hotel without stuff ???! I ask for trolley she give me one stuff saw me pushing and didnt ask if i want a help. I saw the room it was small. I went to the reception i told them last week i was her i choose the same room i show her she was stairing at me she said no then she said we upgrade u last time ( but i didnt now because they didnt tell me) if u want upgrade pay 45 euro each day she want me to pay for nothing the hotel is fully booked... then ok keep the room last week i sent email i forgot the prayer mat just bring it .. she said we have a lots of lost things and we wont go and search for it... i spoken the same say i checked out and told u that on tuesday we will check in again. She said people forget glasses wallet,, i told i dont care just bring my stuff. She said we wont go and search for it. I left and the next day i saw another stuff and ask for my mat and she sent it to me...

Lovely hotel in a quiet but convenient location, very close to the U-Bahn and AirPort Express bus stop. The breakfast was good and the room modern , clean and comfortable. Staff at reception were polite and helpful.

Not a single day without a problem. On the first night we made the mistake to eat at the hotel restaurant. I had to send the beef back because it was impossible to eat, it was like rubber. Even the waiter when I asked for the bill said that he is trying yo get it off the menu as he had problems with it before. We go to the room to sleep...impossible..the worst pillows we had in our life. Even if you fold it 3 times you couldn't get a decent pillow. Barely got any sleep. The next day we go to the reception and ask for 2 more decent pillows. They send 2 more pillows just as useless as those we already had. This was the second day. Thrid day morning, went to the bathroom, the wc doesn't flush anymore, no water. I had to use the trash to pour water in the wc. Went again to the reception to tell them about the problem and went to the city. We get back, the wc is working again, great. Around 11-12PM after going to the bathroom the WC doesn't stop now, water is pouring continuously....press the button a couple of times more, nothing, water keeps pouring. As it's already late, I don't know if they are going to send someone to fix it, don't really want to as it's late and also don't want to change rooms if they don't, so I decide to just let it as it is. Wife can't sleep from the noise....20 more button pushed, the water finally stops. "If you need to go to the bathroom just pour water with the trash can, it's safer" In the morning, same routine, wc broken, water pouring, go to the reception, tell them to fix it. Got back to the hotel, wc fixed, yeyy, couple of hours later, broken again, water doesn't stop.... thank God we are leaving tomorrow to another hotel Not a single decent night of sleep in this hotel. Can't get the basic hotel things right, food, pillows, a working toilet. Never in a Pullman again.

Rooms are really nice, Value for Money. But pathetic service, not Accor standards. I had asked for dental kits they told it’s over, I had asked for plates to be given to room. They told come to the reception and collect it. Seriously, the service was really poor!
