The PARC Beaumont was a perfect hotel for our stay in Pau to visit family. The staff were helpful, informative, friendly and professional. Our room was lovely although a lack of art on the walls was disappointing but this is just personal taste. The facilities in the room were good with the exception of the hall shelves which collapsed when something was placed on it. The view was exactly what we had hoped for. When we were forced to change rooms due to the shelving failure, the alternative was exactly the same as the previous one - except for the collapsed shelves! The housekeeping staff were extremely efficient and discreet. The room service food was excellent as was most of the food experienced in the Grand Prix salon. There was just one fish dish that wasn’t cooked to my liking otherwise the food was well presented and delicious. The restaurant and breakfast room staff were all efficient and friendly. The range of food for breakfast was good although the hot selections were only luke warm and the bacon was almost inedible. Overall, the hotel was a good choice and we would stay there again.

Everything was great: a beautiful room with a stunning view in a beautiful city! Two things were disappointing—one minor and one that caused me considerable trouble. The shower in room #320 was leaking at the handle. I had my electric car charging overnight, but unfortunately it only gained a few percent and stopped at 52%. As a result, I had to completely rearrange my day's schedule, as I needed to find another charger and wait for the car to be ready before heading to Bordeaux to catch my flight.
