an ibis hotel as you may expect it👍. Point for improvement: towels should be replaced by new ones BEFORE you can look through them. Some positives: I made a mistake in the reservation (booking two seperate beds) but it was not a problem to have a room with a double bed (with the warning that this was on a floor that was still in the old style, but that's just cosmetics). The other positive: a welcome drink for the 2 of us; some hotels literally allow just the free drink for the member (which is in fact correct, but just "pennywise").

This hotel is well situated for visiting Pau and has good parking. However the rooms are much smaller than the usual Ibis rooms so I wouldn’t want to stay for more than one night. The sink is in the room as the bathroom is so small. That said the room was spotlessly clean and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was good, though the staff seemed overstretched so the buffet wasn’t replenished regularly.
