Location the area is little run down, but we don’t feel unsafe. 2 Supermarket about 3min walk, and a few restaurants in the area. 6min walk to the Underground . 3 stops on the underground U4 line you are in Town ( Karlsplatz,) The room was a good size with bench seat, and a large workstation. But no tea or coffee making facilities We were on the street side of the hotel so we got a lot of traffic noise. The room was a little hot for us, the air con didn’t seem to work but the window did open. The staff were good with recommendation for Restaurant

Was greeted with friendliness when I arrived to check in. Good sized room with very comfortable bed. Location is well served by public transport and within easy reach of Vienna city centre. Read previous feedback negative about the area, but as a single female traveller, I experienced no hassle or worries when getting to or from the hotel after dark. All in all, a pleasant stay with your standard Ibis breakfast of fresh breads, cold cuts, and limited hot fare. If I had any gripes whatsoever about my stay it would be about the coffee machine. There is just one machine and the queues were often lengthy. Apart from that, I'll book this Ibis again next time I'm in Vienna.

In general it was as expected, however only four clothes hangers for two people for three days is not enough. The very dark walls of the room (212) did not create a good atmosphere. Finally, the dispenser by the sink ran out of detergent on the second day and no one refilled it.

I was staying at this hotel for 6 days, the room was clean and well ventilated (windows could be opened, airconditioning worked fine). Personnel was friendly and helpful, especially at the breakfast. The biggest problem was the overall state of the hotel. Many facilities need some rework, definitely the shower and sanitary facilities. The doorway refused to work, so it took awhile to fix that problem and to get into my room.
