I mean, it was clean and the staff were friendly but that’s about all the good things I could say. The price was too high for what was provided really. Specifics: 1. The room. A really crazy route to find it that took ages and we got lost most times we tried so we felt kind of trapped. The room was also small including the pod en-suite. I’ve had much bigger at an Ibis Budget. 2. No “normal” tea available in the room only two herbal bags. Had to head back to reception (getting lost on the way) to pick up our own tea bags before we could settle. And for the price would a biscuit be too much to ask? 3. The menu looked ok but we couldn’t work out what was restaurant and what was bar. There was also no atmosphere in there, just staff chatting. We ate elsewhere. 4. No plug sockets anywhere near the beds and the beds themselves were hard and uncomfortable. The memory foam mattress topper things were thin and we were awake only four hours after going to bed. Not a good nights sleep. The air con was noisy! 5. Our room faced the courtyard so was noisy even though there was only one small group of people using it. The sound seemed to be amplified by the walls. Basically underwhelming, not as good as the ibis budget we stayed in two weeks before at less than a third of the price!

We regret that you found the layout of the hotel difficult to navigate and that this impacted your stay. Although we do have signs to assist guests, our team is always happy to assist with directions, and we would have gladly escorted you to your room to make things easier. Please note that additional amenities such as tea/coffee/milk/sugar are always available in our reception area. Your feedback regarding our restaurant are duly noted and will be shared with our team. In regards to the bed comfort, noise and a.c. issues, did you by any chance report any of these concerns with our 24-hour reception team during your stay ? Our friendly staff are always available and would have truly appreciated the opportunity to address and rectify any issues at the time to improve your experience. Regarding the payment, we would like to clarify that the attempt to collect payment twice was in line with the booking terms and conditions, as bookings are required to be guaranteed. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused. Thank you again for your feedback. Everyone at the reception was very friendly and welcoming. Thank you for giving me a early check in. I would have preferred had there been a few bottles of water and a phone in the room. The only other thing that did bother me was the wait time at the restaurant wait time. I had to personally look for someone so that I could be sat on a table. I work in the same industry and understand how much these things matter.
