Well located, Friendly Staff and Clean!

The location is perfect with an easy, safe 5 to 10 minute walk to any of the main attractions. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The cost of breakfast was reasonable and the food served was fresh and tasty. The only negative to our three night stay was no hot water on the first night. There was an issue that affected the entire hotel, but fortunately it was resolved by the next afternoon. The management did not make any attempt to compensate for the inconvenience. They could have provided a free meal or slight discount on the room since after driving 4 hours to get there and doing some sight-seeing, a warm shower was top of the list. Especially since we had many plans for the next day that started early. Overall though, we would definitely stay at this location again!!!

Ibis South Bridge was precisely as I expected. Clean and comfortable. Great location as a base for a walking experience on and near the Royal Mile. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Room was comfortable and all you need to enhance your stay. Plenty of options nearby for food and entertainment.

The hotel was nicely located, clean, quiet, and with very friendly staff. For the price and location, it's overall a good hotel, as we really only spent time in the room to sleep and shower before exploring Edinburgh. The bathrooms give a "cruise ship" vibe.

Shabby and expensive

Neverbook Business - Confirmed reviews ALL

Room was superficially clean but grubby in areas eg dusty and dead insects behind net curtain and the hair dryer was inexplicably sticky. One plug socket (in total!) in a hotel room is extremely poor and that plug socket is too far from the “desk” to plug in a laptop and work on it. Cracks in flooring and stains on the wall just makes the whole place look down at heel; which is unexpected for >£200 for a single night. The cost was excruciating (compared to local travel lodge/ premier inn) and the quality/cleanliness was nowhere near as good.
