The room are big enough, quiet and clean…excellent “petit dejeuner” staff very friendly and very nice with our big dog ….secure car park is an excellent bonus

No instructions given to enable us regarding access and egress for the secure car park. Told we could not take our dog into the bar/restaurant. Or take food up to our room. Had to eat in the reception area. That area was cleared of tables in the morning. Staff invited us into the bar/restaurant where the buffet was laid out for breakfast. We ate our breakfast there together with our dog. Was asked, when paying for our bar snacks and drinks , if we were half board. We weren’t. On buying one more drink at the bar was charged again for our previously paid meal. Spoke to staff members and asked them to refund the overcharge. They were unable to do so. Left to me to raise the issue with the company. Sent an email immediately. Received an odd email, with a name, asking for my bank details for the refund. No booking reference given. Was not addressed to me. No mention of the problem, hotel, or anything relating to our stay. On leaving the following morning I was followed out of the hotel by the receptionist who asked if we had had dinner in the hotel as the invoice was showing us as staying half board. We hadn’t dined there. We had had bar snacks, with drinks, that I paid for twice. I am still waiting for a response to my last email plus a refund.
