I have stayed in plenty of cheap hotels including other hotelF1s and I’d like to think I have a fairly low bar when staying somewhere which costs €36 for a night. However, I do expect the room to have been cleaned. Our room was filthy, with crumbs on the desk, medication tablets on the floor, and something that I don’t want to imagine in the sink. The communal toilets weren’t great either. I don’t know if the bedsheets had been changed but the towels certainly hadn’t. The cleaner did arrive at the room at about 4pm but left as soon she saw it was occupied, I was unable to locate her or the reception staff (who were pretty disinterested anyway when we checked in) to ask for the room to be cleaned. The hotel in general was in a poor state of repair, with peeling paint, beds taped together and missing floor tiles. We paid for a “refurbished” room but I don’t think it had seen any refurbishment or even a paintbrush for about 15 years. There is also no AC so the room was approximately 40 degrees - not ideal when staying with a baby. We ended up paying a bit more and staying at the hotel next door which was clean, tidy and cool, and would advise anyone thinking of staying here to do the same.

Hôtel très bien situé, facile à trouver, agréable et propre, chambre accueillante et lit confortable. Réceptionnistes vraiment très gentils (on nous a ouvert la cabane de jardin pour entreposer nos vélos) et très serviables (notamment pour le petit-déjeuner). On recommande vraiment cet hôtel F1 !

how can this be an Accor hotel ????? after more than 5000 nights in hotels all over the world, this was undoubtedly the worst.... dirty, dirty, dirty, I couldn't even get into bed, I didn't even have the courage to try the breakfast that was already paid for. too bad to be true, never choose a HotelF1.

Worst hotel I have ever been to. Checked in then LEFT and found ANOTHER hotel. Simply awful! Avoid like the plague! Cannot believe this is part of Accor chain! I picked this hotel because I have stayed at the Ibis Hotels in Clermont Ferrand and Orleans.

Over one hour to check in due to problem with machine and credit cards (4 different ones). Almost impossible to raise anyone on the 24 hour phone. When he did come downstairs he had obviously been asleep for hours as he looked like a Zombie. He eventually gave us the codes for 2 rooms - but one of them was not made up. He said that the hotel was full so could not give us another room. We remonstrated and eventually he gave us room 219 which WAS made up but was very dirty. Shower was stone cold in the morning. Disastrous customer service from a barely awake, rude and surly Muppet member of staff. Please refund us the cost of the stay. We will probably never use F1 again as a result.
