Room on top floor. Code wouldn't let me enter the room. Man at reception simply told me to try again. Code still didn't work. I was fortunate to have a cleaning staff member Help me.

Room was very clean and modern, it's having the "new style" you can find in some other hotels, with shower entered directly from the room (with frost glass) and sink also in the bedroom (toiled separate). Absolutely no problem for me. Bed was very comfy and pillows firm. Check in - little complicated, mostly because I've been booking for many people. Also to get invoice you need to wait for reception to be open. Still quite fine. Limited breakfast assortment, however quite good for this price. One thing I missed - hair dryer.

I did not arrive until 02.00 so I had to use the automated check-in machine at the door. However this worked fine. I didn't see a member of staff until breakfast time. The room, although very basic, was clean and perfectly fine for a six-hour stay. The bed was a little hard but I still slept well. The location is very good, right opposite the Hbf and ZOB.

One of the great things about travelling around the world is the friendly welcome you get at your hotel. That is one of the main reasons I use Accor hotels wherever possible. The usual friendliness and helpfulness was completely absent in this establishment where I was greeted by a machine, that wasn't even switched on. I had to leave with my suitcase and return at the time stated on the machine - no other check in was possible. For the price, I expect to be greeted by a human being, and will therefore not be using this particular hotel again.

The hotel it selv is perfect, but the area is not. The parkingspace i very limited and the signs dosn’t tell you that it belongs to the hotel. Only that you car will be toad away, if you par there whitout a parkingpermit. We arrived late at night, so the reception was closed, and there were no one to ask, or signs with info about the parking. There is only a few parkingspaces. I think we counted 9 spaces. Not enough for a big hotel. We stayed here in the low season, so there was still spaces left. But in the high season, parking will be a big problem. The area sourrounding the hotel dont feel safe and secure. Located right beside the train- and busstation, there is a lot of suspect people hanging out. We didn’t feel safe leaving our car or staying there. The hotel is nice and clean. The breakfeast is perfect.

The room was a bit small but we were only spending one night and the bed was comfortable and firm. The shower is small and the sink is in the bedroom, not in the toilet which was a bit strange. The room was very clean and had a great air conditioner.The breakfast was good, nice choices of cold options and juice and coffee/tea. The price was good if a bit high considering there was no one at reception and we checked in via a machine ourselves. It is right at the train station which suited us perfectly as we were travelling by train. We were not bothered by any noise from the train station at all.

The new automated off hours check in was new but not a problem. Finishing the check in the following morning was satisfactory and everything went smoothly. The room came equipped with everything you need to have a comfortable stay. Location close to the railway station was the single most important thing for me since this was a base for my day trips to other places. Did not use the breakfast option since I am not a big breakfast person and it was too much to pay for a cup of coffee and a bagel. Looked at the spread though and if you are a big breakfast eater then it was fine. I like Budget Ibis hotels. There is no guessing what to expect. They are almost exactly the same, which for me is perfect. No mystery, no disappointment. That is the definition of a good stay.

A very pleasant stay at the Ibis Budget Hotel in Osnabruek City. Service was impeccable, the breakfast excellent and the location ideal for all forms of transport when visiting this historic city. The room was a very good size and a very comfortable two nights stay was had.

Check in machine did not work, the young man who came to fix it was not very friendly. Room was good and clean, but very warm.

We loved the virtual check in. The hotel manager was extremely helpful during our stay, personable and concerned about our experience.

The stay was as usual in ibis budget hotels. I didn't like that the reception was only occupied with staff during certain hours and that I'd get a code instead of a keycard to enter the building and my room. The check-in experience at the check-in machine is more than suboptimal. I liked that the reception was able to easily change my reservation when I called them a few days prior to my stay.
