I would have given a higher score for a shorter stay but the failure to carry out any room service for 6 days is unacceptable. If the hotel had emptied bins, changed towels and swept floor just once would have been good. Hotel rule is to change once per week or guests pay for additional service. This means that I will not book more than 3 days at According in future. Better to have charged each booking a couple of extra Euros to cover better room service for the few staying more than a few days.

The staff was helpful and prompt to help. The room was also good for a few days stay for a couple or a single person.

Where do I even start… I booked this hotel because there was some kind of summer deal, and the price seemed quite reasonable. The reviews were not terrible either, so I thought, “Why not?” Looking back, I honestly wish I had spent a bit more and chosen somewhere else. We arrived quite late after dealing with flight issues, and I have to say the neighbourhood already felt a bit sketchy at night. Then we checked into the room — and it looked absolutely nothing like the photos online. There were stains on the walls, stains on the curtains that looked like they had never been washed, hair in the shower, dirt in the sink, and even stained bed sheets. It was awful. Imagine arriving exhausted after a long day of travelling and starting your holiday like that. Truly dreadful. Around midnight, I contacted the ALL Accor customer service, who initially seemed helpful and told me they would look into the situation and get back to me by email in the morning. Already having to deal with this at that hour was frustrating enough. The next morning came, and before going out to enjoy our day, we still had no update. I contacted them again, and they simply suggested speaking to reception directly. At that point, I made it clear that I was willing to pay for the one night we had already used, but wanted a refund for the remaining stay. Reception informed me this was not possible because I had booked a non-refundable rate. In my understanding, “non-refundable” means you cannot cancel before arrival and expect your money back — not that you are forced to stay despite serious cleanliness and quality issues. As customers, we pay for a service, and when that service is clearly not delivered as advertised, there should be some accountability. It honestly felt like they were hiding behind the policy simply to avoid losing money. I contacted ALL Accor again, but unfortunately no real solution was offered. To be fair, the receptionist herself was kind and polite. She said she could speak with a colleague arriving at noon, but by then we had already wasted enough precious holiday time dealing with the situation. In the end, we accepted a room change. The second room was slightly better, but many of the same issues remained. The hotel also seems to accommodate long-term residents, and overall the property feels extremely run-down. It desperately needs a deep clean and proper renovation. At the end of the day, nobody wants to sleep in a place that feels dirty, neglected, and uncomfortable — especially not at the start of a holiday.

Firstly, the room: a decent size (we booked a larger room at slightly increased price) and well equipped, with fridge, microwave, small hob and plenty of cutlery, saucepans, bowls, etc. The bath as well as shower was a real bonus! The bed is a decent size and my only criticism is that the bedsheet was a bit small for the bed. There was a small table with two chairs, ideal for breakfast. Secondly, the hotel as a whole: 24/7 reception and PIN code entry as a security measure. Receptionists were helpful and cheery. There's a small meeting area, with items, e.g. pod coffee makers, to borrow, and a football table. There is a shop in reception and free coffee & cold water. Finally, the surroundings: This is an area where local people live, not a tourist area. In my view, this is great, but you need to speak French! There are THREE bars on the circle by the hotel, the best one directly opposite, The Bear Café, which serves great food and drink at prices that you wouldn't get in a tourist area. There are 3 mini-supermarkets within 5 minutes' walk and a great patisserie, Les Delices d'Ivry. More supermarkets, bars and restaurants are about 10 minutes' walk away. The RER C station is 5-10 minutes' walk away and trains leave regularly for Paris centre, a journey of about 15 minutes, less than a shorter Métro ride from further in, although there is a Métro station about 20 minutes' from the hotel. The local area is safe and easy to navigate. All in all, a great place to stay, if you're visiting Paris!

We forgot a shoe bag during checkout when we called to the reception. After sometime, the reception denied of finding anything this is extremely disappointing. As we clearly remember the shoe bag was left in the room with one shoe pair and three flip-flop pairs. I’m not sure how to get it back.
