Repurposed as a hotel in 1966, the Grade II listed building was originally a doctor's surgery called Hilton House. While no longer the case, guests are still treated to the finest care. The University of Bolton Stadium, home to the Bolton Wanderers is just 1.5 miles away.

Room uncomfortably hot and stuffy despite window being open all day and night Walls thin enough could hear occupant next door snoring all night resulting in no sleep

The hotel is pretty standard with all the facilities needed. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good. Bar prices rather high.

I had the worst nights sleep that I’ve ever experienced in any hotel over the last 50 years. I would be lucky if it was 2 hours total. The room was insufferably hot, without air conditioning, the least you could do would be to provide a fan. I paid extra for a breakfast, which sadly had most items missing and upon enquiry, I was advised more was coming which never did within a reasonable time scale. I had to leave and felt I’d missed out because what I did get to eat was nice. Aside from that the hotel was in an easily accessible location and felt secure.
