Overall very good, only issue I had was in the morning, ie around 6am people were very chatty along the corridor and doors opening and closing.

I found all but one of the staff friendly and helpful and my dog and I were made to feel very welcome. The premium double was very comfortable, the shower powerful and the parking easy. Two things would improve things for me 1). A chain on the inside of the door and working locks on the windows 2). Food should be improved. Dinner was cold and at breakfast the bacon was too hard to fork and the two fried eggs remaining were swimming in fat or oil.

A life celebration was held for my late husband, everything was catered for, the event room was perfect, Tim checked every now and again that I was ok and with the event setup, even after the event Tim asked if I was ok from a long day and offered a cup of Tea, and Jade took care of everything from the first booking, she made sure it went smoothly for me and sorted out extra numbers for the catering and the room. The overnight stay was just as nice, the room was warm, clean, quiet and comfy, easy check-in and easy check out, I enjoyed the buffet breakfast. I cannot express how kind and caring the staff are, they go beyond their call of duty and it’s so appreciated when things are tough to get through.
