For us, we highly enjoyed the Insadong neighborhood. The Ibis hotel was within a 5 min walk to three major subway lines. However, note that Ibis was also usually a 30+ minute commute to most places. While this wasn't an issue for us, it's something to take into consideration. We would definitely return to Ibis.

We arrived around midday and were only expecting to leave our luggage and come back later to check in. However, the staff were very kind and allowed us to check in early. We also requested a late check-out at 1 PM, which was very helpful. I really liked the spacious area where we could have meals outside the room, as well as the rooftop area with a nice view of N Seoul Tower. There are also plenty of restaurants nearby. The hotel is a little far from the subway and bus stops, but it was fine for us. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience, and we would definitely stay here again if we return to Seoul. ❤️

Check-in was easy. Staff was friendly. Room was clean. Bathroom could be a little ~ bigger, but I’ve had worse. Great location! Noise level at night was peaceful.

I thoroughly enjoyed the stay - overall great experience and highly recommend. All the front desk staff as well as the housekeeping team were super attentive, thoughtful and thorough throughout my stay. If I could give a higher star rating I absolutely would.

The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring the Insadong area. So many shops snd restaurants on the we doorstep and convenient for the subways as well. Rooms are well equipped and the breakfast has continental and local meal options and set us up wonderfully for each day. Highly recommended.

Location is near subway and a lot of great food (lunch + dinner) around. Breakfast is so-so. But the hotel only have central heating that's not set to cooler temp at night during summer.

However, during the summer season, heat from outside may enter the room, which can cause it to take some time for the room to cool down to a comfortable temperature. Great location, great front desk staff. Room however was small and smelled like sewage all day. I don’t think the bathroom area was renovated since the shower had mold stains, in addition to the foul odor which permeated the tiny room space.

overall is nice and comfortable. Thanks the staff for answering my questions. Bathroom need renovated, maybe the hair dryer and pipes too. Spotted some tiny stains on quilt sheet or dust on wall.
