Very well located, close to grocery stores, the train station, and plenty of restaurants. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I forgot to mention this during my stay, but I was in Room 222 and the bathroom sink was clogged. I also couldn't work out how to use the air conditioning, although it wasn't an issue as the weather was great. Thank you all for a lovely stay.

I am very disappointed with my stay at Ibis Kurfuerstendamm. I paid extra for a balcony/terrace room but the one hotel assigned to me - 824 - had a much smaller balcony than the rest of rooms. However, the worst part was the insufficient air conditioning. The outside temperature was around 37°C during the day, but the A/C in the room was insufficient even when set to the maximum level. The room remained extremely warm, which made it very difficult to sleep comfortably. I would definitely avoid this hotel during hot summer days.

I know the hotel well. I have stayed there many times in the past—at both the Mercure and the Ibis Budget on Kurfürstendamm. I’ve always had a good experience. The location is excellent, the hotel is clean, and the staff are wonderful. However, during my last visit, I had a very unpleasant experience. I was assigned room 812 and arrived very late—after 11:00 PM—following a very long connecting flight. There was a dog in the adjacent room (814) that wouldn't stop barking; I couldn't sleep all night. Beyond being annoying and unpleasant, it certainly isn't what one expects when arriving at a hotel. I went to the front desk to ask for a room change, but there were no rooms available. The receptionist told me that the guests in the next room would likely be checking out at 12:00 PM. I suffered through that first night—getting absolutely no value for the price paid. I do not recommend staying at the hotel or accepting a room next to one where dogs are present.

We reserved a room with a double bed, directly from the website. But when we arrived, only rooms with two single beds were available. That's not what we reserved. That's like reserving a ticket for a movie, when arriving they give you a seat for another movie, cause the room is full.

Stayed here lots of times. Have future bookings too. Hotel is few minutes walk from the U-Bahn station. Wittenbergplatz has lots of cafes/restaurants & shops. Such a good location. The gateway to Kurfürstendamm shopping area. Decent room with a comfortable bed. Once again I’d like to thank the friendly reception team for letting me check-in early & check-out late. Dankeschön. I arrived and checked in quite late (after 10pm) .I went to bed but by about 2 am the room had gotten quite warm as the air conditioning wasn’t working ..Opened the window to get some fresh air but by 5am there was quite a lot of noise coming from the streets ..So had to close the window and was able to get about 3 more hours in. It didnt make sense to report the air conditioning issue considering what time it was and I was only there for one night ..Could’ve been a better night though if it weren’t for the noise due opening the window and the air conditioning not working .

The hotel is well located. The room was comfortable, quiet, and clean, which is the most important thing. The service at reception upon arrival was formal and cold. The breakfast offered is too expensive for what it includes. Nearby, there are places that offer tastier breakfasts at a better price. The hotel lacks a pleasant lounge, bar, or terrace where one can sit and enjoy a drink. The hotel claims to have an environmental policy, but it does not encourage it through gestures of appreciation and attentiveness, as other hotels in the Ibis chain do—for example, in Bordeaux.

We are traveling and we’re sleeping at 10am when a cleaning lady walked into our room. She did not knock, announce herself or anything. This was the most terrifying experience of my life. When we first went to the front desk about this we were dismissed and nothing was done. I then went back down and spoke to someone else where they offered to move us which was more of an inconvenience for us. Very very disappointing.
