To start with, a few days before our stay, an email was sent with the wrong attached file. The one shared contained names and email addresses of the customers on July 14th. Then, when we arrived, we checked into our family room and the floor was dirty, the chair full of dust and the bedsheets not put properly. I complained and were offered either free breakfast or 2 separate rooms that were clean. Of course, we chose the clean rooms. I strongly recommend to avoid this hotel!

A very basic hotel that suits its purpose. Staff were helpful. The room is super basic with a basin in the room and toilet and shower off. The worst aspect is the price of the food which is basic but ridiculously over priced due to the absence of competition. €35 for a meagre, buffet style fare.

I did appreciate my stay at Ibis Hotel, which is well located next to Lyon airport. I did appreciate the bus service taking me to the airport, which was very convenient. All staff were very friendly, comprehensive and helpful. The room was clean, big enough for me and all my luggage, it was easy to set up my prime account on the TV, and it did erase my info (has I've tried to look again the next morning, it did not recall my info). I had dinner and breakfast over there, the "all you can eat" option were good enough (The breakfast was perfect, however dinner was a little too expensive for my taste, it is not competitive with what you can find at the airport regarding price, but again, it was "all you can eat", so might be worth it for someone who eats more than I do ;) ). I was impress by the shower head (sometimes it is the little things that counts ;) ) I wish this ecological one was available in my country (I am from Canada). Thank you very much to all the staff, I will surely come again next time I'm going in Lyon!
