Ibis Styles in Frankfurt City is a decent, if pretty run-down and plain experience. Sadly, we only discovered on-site that this is a franchise and not under the Accor umbrella. Our Accor membership & voucher was not recognised.

worst stay in an Ibis hotel ever! the beds are not comfortable at all, the hotel is old and some parts of it stink + I had to argue to get my 3 welcome drinks ..

We were there only for 1 night to catch our flight early in the morning, but we trully enjoyed the room as it was spacious, good air conditioning and ample bathroom. Good location only a few walking minutes from the central station.

Easy to find the hotel as it is in the city center, nearby bus station and train station. The hotel and the room are clean with good smell. I really like it. The staffs were not that nice as the ones in Asia. I have been staying in different hotels of Accor, therefore I can say ibis Styles Frankfurt Citty staffs were not that nice compare to other hotels in Accor. They did not know how to smile and how to greet the guests. Morning shift and night shift staffs had the same attitude. My room was good, with balcony. But the cover outside of the balcony door and the window were almost borken I think so I could not close it. There is one problem with the toilet. I do not know who desigsed and located the toilet in the bathroom which is too close to the shower stall. If someone's bigger than me, for sure they can not use that toilet. You can check with the room 706. That's really silly to put the toilet like that. About the iron, the staff asked me for how long that I would use the iron, I said about 30 mins. He replied if more than 30 mins, I had to deposit. Wow, that's how you guys do the service? that's so weird for me. There are many things more to give in this feedback but I think that's enough because as a member of Accor, I would say this is one of the worst hotel ever in Accor hotels system that I have ever stayed. Thank you

the first night WIFI was not sufficiently good and I had to use my private phone at my cost (1st time in your hotels) - the second day I put the card "you can enter to clean" but back in the evening it was untouched (answer: the cleaner doesn't know english/german and for her it was do not disturb); one night I come back around 10pm. It was open and nobody at the reception. It means that anyone could enter the hotel without being noticed.

A very kind receptionist permitted me to check in little earlier considering I was from the airport and I had a long flight. People working in that hotel are super hospitable. Curtains and some linen were not that clean. You should carefully check the linen.

Everything was adequate especially for the price. However there was mold in the shower, and all the furnishings seemed older than 20 years. The bed wasn’t comfortable and the curtains didn’t completely block the light from outside. I did not get good sleep, which is mostly what I pay a hotel for.

The hotel itself is correct, for an IBIS STYLES on the older kind, but very correct. The location however is in a very bad area near the train station, with dodgy surroundings in need of deep renovation.
