It was our third stay in sofitel and we were delighted as the lady at the front desk recognized us and she was really polite,sorry couldn’t get her name (I guess she is Filipina)sweet lady. However, the last time I came for stay was for my birthday in june and during the checkin we informed that the complimentary cake / dessert will be fine for us as initially we wanted to order a 1 kg cake and spoke to the concerned departments via email but then realised it will be too much for two people so during check in we were asked and we confirmed that your complimentary dessert or cake will be enough. However, I didn’t receive anything not even a small card even though we ordered 2 times from in room dining no gestures for the birthday was done. It’s not about the dessert or card but the experience. The first time we came was amazing and this time also we were delighted except for my birthday stay which was disappointing.

I had a wonderful stay at Sofitel Abu Dhabi. The entire experience was excellent, and the team was extremely attentive, friendly, and professional throughout my stay. The breakfast was fantastic, with a great variety of options and excellent quality. As an ALL Platinum member, I also felt very well taken care of and truly appreciated the recognition and attention provided by the team. Overall, a great experience, and I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

1. The feel of the hotel is very old style and dark. Seems like it was never renovated since 2010. Even the revolving door is not working, which makes it harder to enter the hotel, doesn't feel like a 5 star hotel. 2. Hotel cleaners don't refill hotel shoes, replace bathrob and others. Doesn't seem like they clean properly at all. 3. Breakfast food is very poor. Even the dining hall is too dark.
