A high quality airport hotel

I stayed at the Novotel Auckland Airport for 2 nights on Freb 6th, 2026 on my way to Bay of Island. It offers a range of high quality amenities, including a large gym. It situates right ouside of international terminal and transport hub where you will find public buses to the city as well as free domestic terminal transfer. It is also within walking distance to nearby Woolworth supermarket. As a gold member, I was upgraded to an executive room with tarmac view. It is great for planes spotting. In lieu of an executive lounge, they provide me with free in room snacks (sweets and chips) and free mini bar (soft drinks and juice only). The rooms are bright, clean and airy. The hotel has a nice bar and restaurant. I tried their buffet breakfast, offering an extensive range of breakfast dishes. Staff are very welcoming and professional. They always acknowledge Accor members. Housekeeping is also very high standard. I definitely will stay there again.
