For a budget hotel it was pretty good. Room was clean, check in very easy considering it was a last minute unplanned stay.booking. We were in room 1806 - top floor with a great view including the harbour. Second time we've have stayed and we will be back as its so convenient. If you just need a clean place to stay overnight in the CBD within walking distance to the viaduct, casino and trains - book here. Only let down was that we parked across the road in Wilson's but the discounted overnight parking is for the rear (dodgey looking) carpark. Wilson's across the road was a whopping $65 overnight. Lesson learnt!

IBIS AKL Central is a great place to stay; just two blocks from the bus station (AKL Airport bus) and right in the heart of the city. Rooms are small, but always clean, and beds very comfortable. The front desk service is always friendly and attentive.

Small and basic room, but it was clean, the bed was comfy, the air-con worked, and the shower was good. Location is great. I'll stay there again.
