This is a budget hotel, great value for price in the location. Easy walking to Queens street, harbour area and ferry terminals. Great breakfast at PIta Pit/Koffee Cafe a few doors up from ibis budget. Staff very helpful and shuttle to airport picks up at the door.

Our room view from the balcony - Auckland Sky Tower. Stayed at ibis Budget Auckland on New Year’s Eve. It was the cheapest option in the area, with a great CBD location near the Sky Tower and an easy walk back after the NYE fireworks display. Check-in and check-out were easy. Parking is available for $30 per night. The room is small but clean; (12 sqm) there was a slight wet-carpet smell that disappeared once the air conditioning was on. Note that this hotel does not participate in the ALL Accor loyalty program.
