The room when i check in smell bad, and already ask for change room but the reception say full. Check in time so long and the staff is rude and very very unhealpfull, never found this services at Accor Hotel. Bathroom Amenities only provide soap, shower gel and shampoo only. Only concierge staff is really very helpfull and quick response. Hot water have to wait for a while

Very happy with location Affordable price Yet need to improve: 1. Hotel renovation/ remove the ill-smelling in front of the hotel door/elevator before reaching to hotel room 2. Breakfast serve should be changed at least 30% no of new dishes every 3 days cause we were so sick with the same dishes for breakfast in a whole week. 3. Room services should be available once needed

Location is good , easily accessible to pratunam market, big C and central world . However 1) the bathroom toiletries was not readily available when checked in . Hence i had to call for room service for the toiletries. 2) free tuk tuk service is not available as mentioned on the website.

hotel room toilet had cigarette smell, air conditioner was extremely loud, certain parts of the room was dusty, wifi was not working. lobby had a strong stench of the river smell that was unbearable at times but very convenient location

I’m a regular Novotel goer. Novotel had always been my 1st choice stay whenever I travel to bkk. After 2 years of no travel due to Covid I’m finally able to travel again hence I’m looking very much forward to my stay. I’ve booked not 1 but 3 executive suites for me and my friends as I’ve highly recommended them for Novotel base on my experience stay. But on 28/04/22 when I’ve arrived in the hotel lobby air-con is not on/working it’s super heaty and warm in the lobby. When I’m doing my check in with the front desk. The lady in the front desk had the worst attitude that I had ever seen in a hotel lobby in Novotel. She was arrogant and display no patience with me. When I was making the payment via credit card the machine couldn’t get through with the transaction and she gave me a snobbish attitude as though I couldn’t afford to P. due to the transaction not approved. I told her to try again and it didn’t went through again. She gave me a u couldn’t afford face and attitude again. I was disgusted by her attitude and I paid her full in cash. And once payment is done I requested for my receipt she happily gave me one receipt. When we were on the way to our room the entire corridor of the hotel room was without air con again. No notice of air con maintenance was being put up so I assumed the hotel was trying to cut cost by not turning it on. Which this is the first time I’ve encounter hotel corridor with no air conditioning. Once I get to my room i called up my credit card bank. And check with them if it’s my credit card got problem or my account got problem. Answer from bank was nothing is wrong with my card or account. The bank told me it should be the machine issue and requested me to try to use another machine for the transaction. I was hesitant in doing it because I had already made my payment in cash. But when I check on my receipt I realized she gave me a wrong receipt the receipt that she gave me was from another customer of Novotel(Platinum). I was make with no choice but to head down to the lobby again to sort things out with her(front desk lady) When I showed the same bad attitude lady from the front desk and told her that the receipt that she gave me is wrong she treat it as though it’s a small matter and just take it away from me and find my receipt and pass to me. Note there was personnel information on the receipt given, to me it was a leak of personal information to others. It showed to me how lack of professionalism this lady front desk was. It was at this moment I remembered that the bank mentioned my credit card have no problem at all. So I told the lady front desk to try using my card for the transaction again using another machine. Again she gave me a snobbish face again and told me all other customer used this machine and had no issue at all so it couldn’t be the machine issue. I insisted that she used another machine for the transaction and told her I’ve called up my bank to confirm that the problem doesn’t lies with my card. She reluctantly took my card and went to the other machine that the lobby had and tried on the transaction. This time round it went through with only one try. I ask her if it was my card issue or the machine that she used initially issue she kept quiet and was non apologetic at all. Worst she still gave me a dirty look. To me it was the front desk’s responsibility to use another machine to try on the transaction and not take things for granted that it will be the customer’s issue for failed transaction instead of the machine that they had. And also the responsibility to keep customer’s personnel data in safe rather then just give it out to others without checking if the receipt belongs to the correct customer. I was really disappointed with this stay with NOVOTEL PLATINUM it really gave me a bad experience from front desk on this stay. I will rethink again if I will be coming back OR recommend to my friends to NOVOTEL PLATINUM again.

The hotel stay was indeed a very good experience! However, few days before my stay, I called up to enquire about the SHA and Thailand Pass information. A very rude receptionist or operator answered my call. She didn't try to help us and her tone was very rude and impatient. My wife also experienced the same when she called the next day. Unfortunately, we forgot and didn't ask for her name. I am really impressed with the hotel stay and really hope the management will investigate and not let this 'blacksheep' tarnish the good reputation of your awesome hotel. If someone will to call and got answered by this receptionist, they might just give this hotel a miss and not discover this wonderful hotel. That would be really unfair for the hotel, the management and all the staff that put in all the hard work for the hotel. I just hope anyone will not be answered this way if they were to call the hotel in from now on. That's all. Thank you once again Novotel Bangkok Platinum Pratunam team minus that rude receptionist. Will definitely stay here again for my future trips!

My initial booking was 2 pax, wrote in to hotel subsequently and requested for extra bed for additional pax. Hotel quoted extra charge for extra bed / extra pax & the arrival pick up + PCR test. I have confirmed with the additional charges and was told to make payment on arrival. 1. When arrived at airport, the pick up area staff mentioned for 2 pax only. I showed them the confirmation slip with 3 pax name. 2. Check in was a bit slow and only 1 person at the counter. Despite already near to 12am but the extra bed was not ready in the room. 3. Some toilet features were not well maintained. All Accor Gold Member might not recognise at all as there isn’t any benefit for it. The only good thing is location if you like to hang area pratunam area.

Let’s review once we arrived at the hotel. The ground staff were very helpful. Check in were smooth and we got our hotel room in less than 30 mins. We requested for PCR to be done in the hotel room at 5.30pm but the results were not given until morning when we call the front desk! We were told that no grab and they prefer to order room service! Next let’s review room- aircon was freaking cold even when I turn to the hottest! Room is clean but the water pressure is very strong and small! It’s hard to bath and even brush teeth! On the last day, we were check out of our own room at 11am even thought check out is 1pm. :(. All the rest is fine, good location!

It was mainly for quarantine and the results came so late more than 8 hours after the test… so we didn’t have time to enjoy the hotel and the place around !! No diner outside was possible !

Hotel location is perfect, rooftop pool is a big +. The staff on the other hand, a big training is required! I had a problem regarding a refund and the reservation manager just never answered to me. When I wanted to see him he was either not here or “couldn’t come to see me because he can’t wear a mask”. And when I was asking to see a manager (room, fo, Gm, anyone) NOBODY was on duty this day!! Of course. I booked my PCR test on their website and they made me wait more than 2hours before the nurse came to do my test.. she told me nobody informed her about the time I had booked… Staff does not meet Accor & 4 star standard

Firstly, I chose the hotel because of its location which was very convenient for hopping arround shopping malls. Since I was ALL Diamond, the staff upgraded my room to the suite. Due to COVID-19 situation, the club lounge was closed, however, the hotel set up to send me a bottle of wine and some snack. The only disappointment was closing of the swimming pool, in which the staff told me to be opened tomorrow. Unlucky!!! However, it turned out to be a very pleasant stay.
