My daughter and I have this annual "tradition" of going to Bangkok near Thanksgiving weekend for shopping and fine dining. Our hotel of choice has always been Novotel Platinum because of its convenient location and quality service!

Staff are excellent. Special thanks to Mark and Monk from Front Office and Aey from the Concierge team. Facilities of room will need improvement. Tower hangers were coming off and refrigerator didn't seem to work.

stay was very pleasant, room neat and clean, staff most helpful, breakfast was crowded as usual packed with customers at peak hour, excellent location nearby to shopping and eateries, security was ok and transportation easy going to and fro to other places.

Convenient location for shopping but crazy traffic jams getting in & out.

as early as June i already booked my hotel n requested for a connecting room since we are group of friends (7pax ) upon check in i was not given a connecting room : then i request for one room late check out because my flight is 22:10 instead just give me 12:30 late check out : instead of having a nap at the room i just stayed at the lobby

Overall stay is satisfactory, but check in and room experience is not good

Check in was delayed as one of the rooms was not ready. There was smoking smell in one of the room on the 1st day. 2 rooms access card were deactivated on the 3rd day even though my reservation was for 4 days 3 nights. Breakfast variety can be further improved.

Excellent location and service. Great for family with kids.

My number choice in BKK city. Excellent location just above Platinum Mall. Hotel not too crowded. Excellent front line service. Executive lounge needs to be improved such as simple crackers or chips available whole day. Breakfast variety seems lesser. Small details such as extra toothbrush for the kids (in the executive suite) will be good. There were 4 of us but only 2 toothbrush and 3 mineral water on the first day. Overall, happy with hotel!

You guys really spoiled my anniversary experience. Everything was pathetic starting from the room to the facilities. Even after leaving a bad experience rating, no one bothered to check what went wrong. Am never going to stay at another Novotel hotel and will never recommend this hotel to anyone.

As Accorplus members, we got priority check in, on a comfort chair while waiting for the beautiful smiling staff, name "ICE" to do paper work. We were given our room #18-10 at 1215pm, but unfortunately the room key doesn't work and we have to go down again. This time, Staff Nick follow us up and we get to enter but told us to check on key again when going out. Room space enough for 3 single beds, clean, comfy, cool aircon, best location because Pratinum Fashion Mall just beside. Enjoy sitting near the window and watch the busy traffic jam, Big C & Central World. The next morning, we had yummy BF buffet by using my Accor, I get 33% of the total bill for 3pax. Due to late flight, I was given late check out at 2pm, which I deeply appreciate too. All staffs were friendly, service with great smile and greetings. Making our stay here a memorable one. Will definitely be back. One down side, I had 3 times cancelled my grab services after waiting for more than 15mins. Many grab driver refuse to come and pick us and refuse to cancel and insist I do the cancel. Those staying here, if plan to go airport, please leave early or take a cab to nearby Airport link and take train will be faster and cheap.

A disappointing and insulting stay

s current stay was the worst stay till date. 1. The room is full of dust. Even I keep telling housekeeping everyday. They never even clean it propeely. 2. The lights in the toilet keep not working. They kept sending the engineer to fix and it spoil again shortly. 3. During my check out, i have to wait for 55 mins for my entire batch of luggage to reach the lobby. They pick up one of my room. Afterwhich they say they will will come up but never came back again. 4. I have to wait for 30 mins to reach my turn to check out my room. And as an Accor member, this was suppose to be the express q. Service is slow and ridiculous. 5. Mini bar in my room have to be called to top up every single day. They never even top up and I have to call and remind them. Last day of check out they even charge me for taking minibar when they never even refill the minibar. 6. Worst of all after I check out, front desk staff Eddy came chasing my car to collect 490 bath from me saying my room have used minibar. A. We never even take our minibar, they didn't even refill the minibar despite calling customer service to remind them. B. I am entitled to F&B credits, it should be more than enough to cover the missing itens in the minibar. Due to the latenesss in checking out and the lateness in the bell service to bring down my luggage. I have no time to argue but to pay Eddy cash. Why wasn't this brought up during the check out when they have ready asked me to wait for 10 mins to check for the minibar in my room. This not only wasted my time, this is an insult and as I am travelling with my business partners, this have seriously affected my reputation.
