The hotel is conveniently located near a BTS station and the hotel provided a free tuktuk service to Siam shopping malls. The staff were attentive to our needs which made our experience even better. However, the lighting in the room needs to be brighter and wish there were more convenience stores located closer and with easier access to the hotel.

The service was great but the hotel room is showing signs of wear and tear and needs to be updated. The website stated views of Bangkok from a corner room with views on both sides, one entire side had wooden blinds and frosted windows. You could hardly claim that as views.

At the end of 2019, he planned a nine-member large family trip and booked this hotel. For a comfortable trip, I have booked three executive suite rooms. Upon arriving at the hotel, the hotel staff said they would give one duplex room and one executive suite room because there were no rooms available. Six people stay in a small duplex room!!! We told the staff that the duplex room was too small to stay, but she told us to go to the deluxe room because we only had deluxe rooms. Finally my mother had to sleep on the sofa. What's more upsetting is that the staff didn't apologize at all. She only said she upgraded our room to a duplex room.This hotel has become the worst hotel of my life and I will never stay here again.

We like the hotel location very much with BTS within 2 min walk, proximity to BKK centre, nearby eateries and shopping complex. Hotel staffs including reception were very helpful to provide high floor deluxe suite with good city view. Hotel provided free shuttle service which we used for going to shopping complex. As our departure flight was in the evening, reception accommodate our request for late check-out at 3 pm. Sumptuous breakfast buffet with wide spread of food varieties, different daily fruit juices and pastries. Breakfast staffs were very courteous and provide excellent service. We had stayed twice in this hotel and will certainly come back again when we are in Bangkok.

The VIE is a very nice hotel. Rooms are large, convenient and clean. Location is perfect - 2 minutes walk from a sky-train station and 5 minutes from the popular MBK shopping center. Staff is very nice and helpful. Swimming pool is a pleasure, we went there every afternoon for a short refreshment between the day's touring and the evening's dining. Warmly recommended!

Hotel Amenities & Lobby was very tasteful with a Huge Gym. Spa looked good but a bummer as I couldn't avail as I fell sick. Pool tiles were rather dirty and size was compact, but good atmosphere all around. Corridors are a tad dark especially at night. Did not have a separate Club Lounge. Welcomed by the GM which was very nice, I felt bad that he helped with my bags! Check-in was pretty smooth and tastefully done by Tong. Welcome Drinks were honestly one of the best I've had thats a good balance of sweet and floral. Tong who had responded to my email the day before was also patient in explaining and sharing again the details in case I didn't get a chance to have them read. He is also a gem having prepared for me a Birthday Cake and surprised me with it whilst I was out. I really felt heartwarmed by his kind gesture and professionalism. There seemed to be a last-minute swap of rooms, however, as the fruit amenities placed in room was written meant for another guest. Welcome amenities felt a bit lacking given the 5* stature, but a very thoughtful gesture nonetheless. Room in dire need of an update though the host of TV channels is aplenty. Size is large but a lot of underutilised space. Amenities are brand fare but dont seem to have any distinct or characteristic properties. Quality is decent though & points for sustainability efforts with mostly non-single use amenities less the dental kit (of course!). AC vents are not clean as all 3 of us got a bug at about the same time and the room generally needs some form of disinfecting. Beds were nice but there was a lack of a Pillow Menu to inform of any alternatives. Piano Bar service was great with the White gentlemen and Chompoo being such a delight to the other guests. The other staff were of course amicable though beverage took slightly longer. Bar atmosphere got better with live musical accompaniment. Food offerings were mostly finger food, bite-sized cheese, charcuterie and pastry cream desserts. Drink options are very wide which is a plus. Nice to have met the Executive Chef who we complimented in person for the fare. But the Happy Hour timing is rather odd as many have mentioned. Housekeeping service by Pien (?) Was pretty good; missed a couple things during servicing but that happens; even left a dirty wiping towel once (oops!). But, her attention to detail was what blew us away and I'm sure some stellar inter-department communication might have been at work too. After the second night; we fell pretty ill and got ourselves some honey lemon water (also courtesy of the Room Service Team, bless their hearts) to combat and soothe the irritation, we came back to a very clean room and Singha Glass Bottled Water in place of the brand bottles! Turn-down service was probably pretty easy too since we were mostly out and about; but we appreciated the cookies and bed-side water. But, the extra mile was also the folded clothes and the nicely coiled wires. Her friendliness is also quite unparalleled, greeting at every opportunity. Breakfast at LaVie. Honestly one of the Happiest Breakfast Crews I've ever personally encountered worldwide; including both the kitchen crew and the service staff! It truly was a nice way to start the day. This includes Nun (great smile), the Lady Manager (very friendly and took time to conversate with her guests) throughout our duration of stay, the older lady manning the egg station and the hostesses. I blame my morning grogginess and poor eyesight for failing to catch the other names, so if you could go out your way to investigate and reward this people; I would also like to name them on my TripAdvisor review! Food range wasn't extensive by any means even comparing to Midscale and Premium Brands such as Novotel and Pullman much less Sofitel. They did however have just enough with enough rotations during our period of stay to not be totally jaded. With the reduced quantity settinh expectations for increase in quality, they were barely met, being alright short of being spectacular. But within each types quite a few types do exist including their pastries and honey. The roasted lamb was so good that we were sad we took the small precut pieces on the first day and never got to have it again. What really saved the breakfast aside from the good croissants was the mason jar salads and the healthy drink concoctions! Always fun to discover new flavour combinations that are not only visually colourful and fun, but also nutritious. Second day breakfast was also pork heavy further limiting our choices. One of my sharers also reacts badly to the water served (tap apparently) even after boiling and just tasted off; there was once an ordered chamomile tea tasted very salty too! So we had to incovenience the staff members to boil bottled watter that we bought to which they obliged willingly after a few corrections and reminders (forgot once). But again whilst broaching on extra mile service, how can I forget to mention Chef Golf! This gem of a lady personally whipped up some Eggs Benedict for me which not only was it personally delivered and made specially for me, it tasted fantastic too! My other big regret being that I only really had space for one! Being sick and given comfort food by a very accomodating angel really moved me and truly impressed my sharers. Room Service Generally interactions with staff memebrs were flawless and hygiene standards were well met. They were very polite and well-mannered. Monz was also very affable when answering queries about the mango fruit juice, very coyly mentioning that it was 99% real mango whilst my other order which was watermelon was 100%. We again had a friendly banter when he personally delivered them within the promised time. 99% might have been a longshot as it tasted quite a bit like concentrate but it might just have been a mismatch in expectations. Day two was when we were offered our get-well drinks as new year gifts which accompanied whatever we could get despite being sick. Green Curry was fantastic but clearly was meant to be eaten with rice that we requested to not be sent (small regret there) as it was on the slightly saltier side of things. Burger temp was good but overall can't quite match the one I had in Pullman G Bangkok Hotel. The Wagyu Beef Fried Rice was decent and could have used some salt from the green curry as it was slightly underseasoned but with a good amount of heat. The meat was too fine though, so it might just have been wagyu fat bits thrown into the mix. Couple of glitches included being served oil in place of aioli which is quite an honestly cute mistake. Check-out was done by Diana(?) Who had a bit of trouble handling the folios even after some explanation before she took sometime to seek help to get clarification from a (good kind of) sassy female Duty Manager. She took the split card and cash mix transaction rather well though the processing time took way longer than expected overall. A similar struggle was noted by the 4th Night Female Receptionist who had trouble generating a Pro-Forma Folio and had some difficulties with AccorPlus discounts and "burn for stay" to quote her. They are both of course very lovely nonetheless as is the male night manager on the 4th! Also kudos to Benz for assisting me with the luggages on checkout ans the bell team for being so accomodating in bringing our groceries up and providing a box and tape. Overall, the stay met expectations as a Gold member and definitely left my friends a deep impression of not only the hotel and brand but of ALL in general. They remarked that their stay here and the unparalleled service has ruined their stay experiences in Japan following this stay. Well done and am excited to patronise the brand more and look forward to the possibilities once renovations of rooms are done for an updated look. Great location made better with tuktuk service that we could not avail; so higher frequencies would of course be great! Cheers to the management as well!

The VIE is a very nice hotel. Rooms are large, convenient and clean. Location is perfect - 2 minutes walk from a sky-train station and 5 minutes from the popular MBK shopping center. Staff is very nice and helpful. Swimming pool is a pleasure, we went there every afternoon for a short refreshment between the day's touring and the evening's dining. Warmly recommended!

The lobby is very welcoming, very nice decoration, smell also nice and nice music so all senses are satisfied The rooms are big and clean (we had a suite and a room), you feel good in them The breakfast is just outstanding, from the room set up, to the staff, the view and of course the choice and quality of service The Gym is great for a hotel To deserve a 10 I believe you should work on the staff welcoming you in the morning ( not very smiling...) and the pool where there is no atmosphere But overall this I great well dine
