Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would consider returning if the price is right. Pros - Excellent location within walking distance of major shopping malls. The hotel also provides complimentary tuk-tuk transfers. - Our Platinum status was recognised automatically, including a room upgrade and welcome amenities. This was greatly appreciated, as not all hotels provide these benefits without reminders. - The one-bedroom suite was spacious and comfortable. - The gym is a proper commercial gym, so it is much better equipped than a typical five-star hotel gym. - Breakfast offered plenty of choices, and the food was tasty. - The evening lounge canapés included a good selection of finger food. - Service throughout the hotel was prompt, polite and professional. Cons - Despite its size, the one-bedroom suite would benefit from having a separate powder room. - Because the gym is shared with external members, it can become busy. - The pool looks attractive in photographs but is too short for proper lap swimming and does not open early enough. - The breakfast area feels cramped when busy, despite the plentiful selection. - The lounge is located on the ground floor beside the lobby and reception. It therefore lacks the privacy, views and more exclusive atmosphere usually associated with an executive lounge. All things considered, VIE Hotel provides a comfortable stay with excellent service, strong Platinum recognition and a very convenient location. If the room rate is competitive, we would happily consider staying again.

Being guest of day made our day and your exceptional hospitality and service. Every details were perfect. It’s unfortunate that Bangkok had a flood and we did not get to try the Omakase or Japanese food with the in-house guest discount. You staffs handled the situation very well. Great Location and hospitality. Ratchathewi BTS station is just around the corner. Not far from all the major shopping malls, with free tuktuk ride by the hotel. We were also able to check in earlier than expected and appreciate the help and hospitality from all hotel staff.

This is our second time staying at VIE Hotel. We visit Bangkok at least once a year and stayed here for the first time last year. To be honest, our experience last year wasn’t great. We stayed for six nights and felt that the service was lacking. Despite being an Accor Gold member, I wasn’t offered an upgrade. To make things worse, I ended up with a lower-floor room than my friend, who had booked the exact same suite room type thru a third party website. We checked in at the same time, and he was still laughing about why we bothered staying loyal to Accor. So this year, we decided to give VIE another chance, but only booked three nights and planned to spend another four nights at a different hotel, just in case we experienced the same cold service as last year. To my pleasant surprise, the experience this year was completely different. From the moment we arrived at the hotel, the service from the bellboy and front desk team was so much better than our experience last year. This year, I had also worked my way up to Platinum status, and I was given an upgrade, which was a nice touch. The housekeeping team did a fantastic job every day. There were three of us staying in the room, and all three towels were replaced daily. You know how many hotels will only leave two towels in a room even when there are three guests? Here, the housekeeping team had already prepared three sets of towels for us when we arrived. The bed linens now even have the hotel logo embossed on them, and there were several other small touches around the room that showed how much attention the hotel pays to detail. I genuinely feel that there may have been a change in management since last year, because the improvement in service has been so significant. Breakfast was also one of the highlights of our stay. The selection wasn’t particularly wide, but whatever they had on the buffet was delicious. It was clear that they focused more on the quality of the food rather than simply offering a huge variety. The staff in the breakfast area were also very welcoming and attentive. I actually miss the hotel while I’m typing this review. In fact, I was already regretting my decision to stay only three nights instead of the full seven nights on this trip. One thing is for sure: on my next trip to Bangkok, I’ll definitely be coming back to VIE Hotel. It’s genuinely amazing to see how much the hotel has improved in just one year. This time, VIE has definitely won back my confidence and loyalty.

I love the location. But I have 2 points worth for you to understand: 1. As a moslem, I find a very limited option of finding food that not contain pork during breakfast. It’s inconvenient for me since the restaurant are mixing the area of halal-non halal menu 2. In room drinking water. I dont see all bottle have the seal. I’m not feeling well after drinking from one of the bottle esp the one inside bathroom.
