He was incredibly accommodating with my booking adjustments, check-out extension requests, and any concerns I raised during my stay. What stood out most was his willingness to assist regardless of the time and his proactive approach in ensuring that all my needs were addressed. His dedication to guest satisfaction truly goes beyond expectations and exemplifies exceptional leadership. Front Office Team – Nigel, Far, and Ysabelle Every interaction with the Front Office Team was warm, welcoming, and professional. Nigel, Far, and Ysabelle consistently made me feel valued whenever I checked in or out of the hotel. Their positive attitude, efficiency, and willingness to go the extra mile significantly enhanced my overall experience. Their outstanding service is one of the main reasons why Novotel remains my preferred hotel among the many options available in Metro Manila. Food Exchange Manila – Keiza and Caila I would also like to recognize Keiza and Caila from Food Exchange Manila for their excellent service during breakfast. They are remarkably hospitable, attentive, and accommodating. As a regular guest, I particularly appreciate how they recognize and warmly welcome me, making me feel genuinely valued and special. Their friendliness and dedication create a wonderful dining experience every morning. They are doing an outstanding job and are truly valuable members of the Novotel team. Overall, I am very grateful for the exceptional service provided by these individuals. Their commitment, professionalism, and genuine care for guests made my stay comfortable, enjoyable, and memorable. Great and satisfied

Had a relaxing 2-day stay at Novotel Manila Araneta City. Overall, it was a quick but enjoyable staycation, and I appreciated the comfortable atmosphere and great service from several members of the team. I've been thinking about whether I should mention this because it may seem like a small matter, but I believe it's something that can be improved. During breakfast, I noticed that some of the staff did not greet guests or even offer a simple smile. I know it may seem like a small gesture, but a warm greeting or a smile can really make a difference in a guest's morning and overall experience. There was also a lady whom I assumed had a supervisory role in the restaurant. I happened to glance at her several times, but unfortunately, I didn't notice any smile or acknowledgment. A relative who was with me also noticed the same thing. Of course, I understand that everyone can have a bad morning or may be dealing with something personally, so I don't want to judge her based on that alone. I simply feel that this is something worth mentioning because small gestures can have a big impact on guests. This is especially worth noting because Novotel Araneta City has recently been recognized for its hospitality. With such recognition comes an expectation that every guest interaction reflects that same standard of warmth and hospitality. On the positive side, the breakfast spread was still great, and everything we tried tasted good. Special kudos to Denver, who was attentive and always checked if we needed anything. His service definitely stood out. I would also like to commend the Premier Lounge team—Ms. Jana, Joshua, and Henry—who consistently took care of us throughout our stay. Their attentiveness and hospitality made our experience even more pleasant. All in all, I had a relaxing and enjoyable quick staycation at Novotel. There are just a few areas that I feel can still be improved, particularly when it comes to guest engagement.

The staff were very kind and helpful, especially when I struggled with English. They were always willing to assist me. The breakfast was buffet-style, with a wide variety of options. I was very satisfied with the selection, taste, and freshness of the food. However, the shower pressure was quite weak, and because of the bathroom layout, the floor around the sink and shower area tended to get very wet. I also noticed some dust on the ceiling. Other than that, I was very satisfied with the security, cleanliness, and location. The live concert venue was just a stone’s throw away, and I felt safe in the surrounding area. Considering all of these points, I think this hotel offers great value for money.

As the Senior Director of HR for Discovery Samal, my work centers around operational excellence, room presentation, and standard-setting guest service. Having built my career around the warmth of Filipino hospitality, I maintain relatively high expectations—especially when booking an established global brand like Accor. Unfortunately, my recent stay at Novotel Araneta City fell somewhat short of those benchmarks. The primary concern was the housekeeping and environmental condition: there was a distinct, unpleasant odor present in both the hallway and inside the room. From a hotel operations and guest-experience standpoint, maintaining baseline ambient freshness is fundamental, making this a disappointing oversight for a property of this tier and positioning. Additionally, when I inquired about accommodating a king-bed setup, the interaction at the Front Office felt uninspired and dismissive. Rather than demonstrating solution-oriented service—such as checking upcoming room turns or offering potential alternatives—the response lacked the empathetic touch that defines great front-line teams. That said, the stay was not without its bright spots. The breakfast buffet was well-curated with a respectable range of options. As someone deeply passionate about local culture and guest engagement, I particularly valued the inclusion of fresh taho—a thoughtful Filipino touch that elevated the morning dining experience. Overall, while the hotel boasts a prime location and strong individual elements, there is substantial room for operational polish. Heightened attention to room conditioning, lingering scent management, and service enablement at the Front Office would go a long way in bringing the experience up to brand standards.

Everything was perfect. Though I have a very minor suggestion to change the scent of the air fresheners used in the room. The scent reminds me that of a church rather than a relaxing stay. :)

The service was great, the buffer selection was absolutely wonderful. My child also enjoyed the amenities - pool and kid zone. It really was time and money well spent

We had such a wonderful overnight stay at Novotel last weekend as we celebrated the birthdays of my two grown-up kids. 🎂🎉 It was a simple family celebration, but staying at the hotel made the occasion feel extra special and gave us another beautiful memory together. One of the things we really appreciated about Novotel is its very convenient location near Gateway Mall. Almost everything we needed was within easy reach—from a wide variety of restaurants and cafés to shopping, sports, and entertainment. It was so convenient to be able to enjoy different activities without having to travel far. We also made the most of the hotel’s facilities. We had a great time at the swimming pool, which was perfect for relaxing and enjoying some quality family time. The gym was another nice feature, especially for those who still want to squeeze in a workout even while on a staycation. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, which made our overnight stay even more relaxing. After spending time around the mall and enjoying the hotel amenities, it was nice to come back to a cozy room where we could simply rest and enjoy each other’s company. More than the facilities and convenient location, what made this stay memorable was the opportunity to celebrate together as a family. As our children grow older, moments when we can slow down, spend time together, laugh, eat, relax, and celebrate special milestones become even more meaningful. Overall, we had a very pleasant and memorable experience at Novotel. It was a wonderful choice for our family birthday staycation—comfortable, convenient, and surrounded by everything we needed for a fun and relaxing celebration.
