The room was clean. People were kind (very important to clients). The only thing I did not like is the fact that the strong bad smell was coming from the pipe of the toilette. An other thing, the room was a little bit hot; especially, the window is located on top and the room has no hair condition. However, things were cleaned. Another suggestion, IBIS should open its hotel the one near the Gare. This is very convenient for the clients.

We were put in room 517, Nice view of the castle but didn’t sleep at all well due to the noise of the lift working throughout the night. Don’t understand how when the hotel is not full this room should be the last to be allocated.

Good location near the center of Vienne

Typical IBIS hospitality. The hotel has a small parking garage, so a parking sport has to be reserved in advance. THe rooml on the 5th floor was nice and quiet.

We stayed for 3 nights in a room overlooking the river. From arrival through to check out the staff were really helpful and friendly. They could speak some English which was good especially when you're tired after a long journey and struggle with speaking basic French. The location was good and is about a 10 minute walk from the station and it's easy to find. Breakfast is good and the bread and pastries are fresh every day. We would definitely use this hotel again.

We spent a weekend at the hotel and were very impressed by the service and the room. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast selection was very good. The hotel has a relaxing atmosphere and we were made to feel welcome at all times. Our room had a lovely view of the river. The hotel was easy to find and is in a good location. We will definitely come and stay again.

Excellent stay

The Ibis in Vienne was as good as any other IBIS. The room was a slight adaption of the "norm" and like all is slightly on the small side. The bed was comfortable, the room and bathroom were clean. The hotel is well situated between Vienne and Sanit Romaine. Access to the car park is a little tight but exit was easy. If coming from the south, the road junction off the N7 is a little complicated and can be very busy. Breakfast was adequate with choice. Reception and other staff were friendly.

You have to pay 9€ for the parking lot, which is open. One homeless person was sleeping on a parking slot. The person at the desk was not very friendly on the arrival. Location of the hotel is in an area with strange people. My family was scared at night.

As above, room was clean and location was good, walking distance from everywhere we wanted to be. Receptionist initially could not find our booking however once I showed the booking confirmation email she was able to locate it. Continental breakfast was good and the outside terrace was thoroughly enjoyable in the morning sun.

We stayed here to attend Jazz à Vienne. We would do so again, the room was clean and comfortable. While somewhat minimalist, it was perfect for one night. It was an easy walk to the Thèâtre Antiquitie, The night staff at our return at midnight was particularly helpful and industrious.

Ok for the money

The hotel was okay to the price we booked. But the website statet free parking, which wasn't availible. So we had to pay 20 euros for parking next to the hotel, on a public parking lot. we specifik chose this hotel because of the parking, so it was quite disappointing.

This was a pleasant surprise for a 1 night stopover. Clean, comfortable with a good breakfast on offer. The parking was OK for us and we have a larger SUV, the access to turn in is tight, but not as bad as some reviews imply. Perfect spot to explore Vienne and would stop again.
