The hotel itself is okay, situated conviently. Facilities are a bit outdated, like the showers. Waiting time for a beer or restaurant are extremely long. Main reason we are dissatisfied is that we got stuck in the elevator for fifteen minutes with a baby and a toddler. Staff responded that they would call a technician. No further updates, time frame or whatever and after fifteen minuten the problem solved itself (no technician arrived, no updates received). Staff said they would compensate it upon checkout, but of course they did not or it was the 'bon voyage's at the end.

We felt the hotel was a little tired looking when compared to the other Ibis Styles we have stayed in in Beaune. Perhaps it is time for a refurbishment ? The restaurant was very busy ( Friday night ) and we had to wait approx 45 mins in the bar area for a table. The restaurant manageress took our names, room no etc and said she we would come and find us in the bar when a table for 2 was ready. We saw her come for the couple in front of us on the list 9we were second) however after 10 mins or so we went round to the desk to enquire as to how much longer our table would be to find out that she had crossed off our names and seated another 3 or 4 tables as well !! She found us a table quickly but clearly knew we were not happy. Reception desk staff were pleasant and helpful.

Its our usual stop on the way to the coast and back.

The blankets were too warm for late spring, but we also forgot to switch on the air conditioner. Everything else is quite fine.
