As GOLD member was especially valuable at the PRIORITY RECEPTION desk since long queus were present due to stranded air passengers for cancelled flights snow

It was a little tricky to get there with construction but once there it was very nice. Wonderful outdoor spot for our dog to play. Restaurant was nice, friendly staff, and breakfast was bigger than expected so many selections!

This was my third stay at Novotel. It is very convenient for the airport and there is a free shuttle service included, it only takes a few minutes - which is great. All the staff were courteous and friendly, and the rooms are spacious and very clean. There's also a good and comfortable seating area in the reception, where I was able to meet with my colleague for several hours of planning and discussion. There were useful and reasonably priced snacks for sale in reception, and I enjoyed the meal I had in the restaurant in the early evening. I also appreciated the complimentary bottle of water in my room, and the fact that (a) I could open the window and (b) it wasn't too hot in the room when I arrived - as can sometimes be the case with hotels. The two points for improvement related to my room were: (a) there was a bit of a smell coming from the sink in the bathroom and (b) one side of the double mattress squeaked each time I moved - so I quickly decided to slide over to the other side! I would definitely recommend the Novotel and would happily stay there again if needing to go back to Brussels. Although room check-in was 2pm, I was admitted some 20 minutes earlier as the room was ready, with no extra charge - a little kindness on the part of reception, which was much appreciated.
