Hotel had multiple flaws....hallway with 3 exposed large electrical cables, holes in bathroom where toiletries were affixed, inoperative safes, and rather bland breakfast across the way at Holiday Inn but the highlight was Alexy. This young man is a STAR. Customer Service in Europe and US has gotten awful but Alexy was kind....super friendly and when I said that I had questions he replied "That's what im here for. Ask as many as you like" He has bright future. The world needs more Alexys.

We stayed only one night before an early flight. Although no bar or restaurant was available on sight, the hotel next door only steps away had these amenities. When we checked into our room the temperature was locked onto 25 degrees Celsius with an error message on the thermostat so no way to turn it down. Additionally, the tv remote control was missing. We went to the registration desk immediately where they happily issued us a new room:) Gold star for fixing the situation! The free airport shuttle was a welcomed amenity. For an early flight we would stay again.

We stayed at the Adagio for 9 nights as a base for a Belgian tour, and on that level the place was great. The rooms are all good sizes, and as the hotel has no bar, a real bonus was being allowed to use the facilities of the Holiday Inn Express opposite. Two main gripes, though. While the rooms are a good size, every one of our four rooms had something not working…TV, coffee maker, electric hotplate, lights, even electric wall sockets, some of which looked frankly dangerous. Secondly, we were given a parking plan and told that as we would be there for 9 nights we’d have priority. Three nights into our stay we arrived back and the parking for our two vehicles was compromised, and the night fury claimed no knowledge of our visit or any arrangemen…..and it wasn’t the only night. Furthermore, in my room the heavy MDF door had come off the unit above the fridge and when we arrived it was just propped up behind my bed. similarly, the microwave had been taken out of its housing and dumped on the shelf by my bed, presumably because none of the power sockets in the kitchen area worked. For context, I know this is not the Ritz, and the room prices are lower than with other airport hotels. But if you advertise a kitchen on your website and Booking.com, it needs to WORK !!! You’re good, but you need to be better !!

At middle of night during my stay, there was terrifyingly loud alarming sound, but not a word from the facility telling me what went wrong. It was scary.
