The location is very good but right now a huge renovation is being done at the hotel so the lobby where we had breakfast was not cosy at all since it looked like a workplace. However, the personnel, was fantastic- helpful, asking if we needed anything extra!!!

The guy at the reception was picking his nose when we were at the counter and seemed uninterested. No elevator so we had to climb a lot of stairs. Urine against the walls in the bathroom, odour of smoke and everywhere signs of poverty. Dead or half dead flies on the ground at the breakfast area. No plates or proper coffee cups although the personel was getting coffee cups for themselves from a private area.

No air condition in +30 degree room !! WC and shower need upgrade - will never repeat a stay there

Just stayed the night as this was breaking up our long journey before heading to the port the following morning. For the price we paid really can’t complain Lovely gentleman checked us in quite late in the evening and was very kind Thank you

I thought this was very good value for money. Yes the hotel is basic and the rooms are smalll but what do people expect for the price. My room was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good. All together a great base for Paris-Roubaix over a 3 day stay. I would come again.

As expected no problems

A budget hotel with no frills, basic and clean but functional.

No elevator, small rooms, poor lighting dissatisfying experience.

We were in too 208. The people staying in room 220 made a sleep in the night impossible. For a long time we thought the noise came from outside the hotel. Then at 4 in the night when we watched, we saw it was people in room 220 smoking in the window. When I went to their room to ask if they wanted to be quiet I saw 2 girls leaving the room, not interested in anything I had to say. They walked out and stepped into a car next to the entrance. The car stayed there and had been standing there (on the place for invalids). The whole scene gave me the idea the hotel is being used by prostitutes. Next to it being illegal in France have they been ruining our night in the hotel. The hallway where their room was, was completely filled with the scent of tobacco.

Staff at reception were friendly and helpful. The room was small and basic but clean and comfortable and perfectly adapted to our needs.

I would qualify the above with: 1. Inadequate local public transport 2. Facilities for having toasted brown bread at breakfast were absent.

The price was low but the quality of the interior and cleaning of the room was accordingly. The bed was a bit hard. When I compare this hotel with for example Ibis budget in Saarbrücken Germany, it is a complete different level of quality and cleaning of the room. I was expecting at least the same level.

A very friendly and helpful greeting and sign-in by a very nice young woman whose English was very good. We spent a comfortable evening in our room and followed by a peaceful night's sleep. This was the first time that we have used Ibis Budget - we have always used F1 in the past. In the future we will always try to use Ibis Budget - as long as there is one conveniently located on or near our route.

We continually had problems with the key card not working. As we had a room on the top floor, it was frustrating having to keep running up and down the stairs for the reception to reset the key code (as there was no lift)!
