Great hotel with friendly and attentive staff. Golf courses were in great condition considering the hot weather over the summer. Food good. Only negatives are you need taxis to get anywhere (which aren’t cheap), the hotel drinks were expensive and the greenkeepers need to move the pins more over weekend days. Great experience though and would recommend.

18 person tour. Only complaint was dining room service. When a large group had to be served all other service stopped - mid-meal. Twice we waited over half an hour - the last time I had to talk with dining room staff - and - then service started immediately - go Figure???

We stayed for two nights, arrived late the first night but had a very welcoming arrival and very helpful. Before during and after our stay the staff have been very friendly and attentive which made our stay feel very enjoyable.
The golf courses were both excellent, the breakfast was great, staff went out of their way at the desk, the bar and the pro shop to ensure we were all looked after.
We’ll definitely be back.

Our first and obviously last Cabot experience. Any American traveling from the states and buying into the false advertising will be utterly disappointed. This Bordeaux Cabot is atrocious. Zero commitment to golf, zero commitment to improving their facilities, zero commitment to customer service….they literally do NOT have functioning blinds in the restaurant. When the bloody sun is baking in you have to ask because God forbid the staff takes any initiative to provide some type of relief from the sun just so you can sit inside the restaurant. And flys don’t get us started on all the flys in the restaurant…they are everywhere. Staff leaves doors open from outside into restaurant and you can NOT eat OR drink without being inundated with flys. This place is a 2.5 star resort at best and that’s pushing it.

Isolated and remote without any shuttle to Bordeaux, the airport or any town. No Pilates, yoga or stretching classes or any activities other than golf and swimming in the pool. Good golf shop and breakfast buffet.

We had four (4) couples who planned a trip to Europe with the anchor of the trip being a golf outing at Cabot Bordeaux resort. Reservations were made months in advance. Flights were booked; other transportation needs were scheduled. A couple weeks prior to our trip we were notified of compromised course conditions and reduced daily rates. Having experienced Cabot resorts elsewhere in the world (Cabot Citrus Farms, Cabot Cape Breton, Lofeton Links) we thought that was a nice gesture however we never expected the facilities and service to be more similar to non-private facilities in the USA. The courses were in unplayable condition and the property was not as represented in its marketing materials. The service was poor, i.e. no on course restroom facilities, no on course refreshments, no tees provided. The restaurant and bar were very poor, i.e. bartenders didn't know how to make simple drinks, waiters/waitresses didn't know how to split checks. The exercise area was laughable for its inadequacy.
We spent $25,000 to travel and stay at Cabot Bordeaux and expected a substantially better experience.

I would not come back. It was not a typical Cabot experience. Vignes course was all dirt due to drought. Greens were nice though. Chateaux course better condition but no water, towels, tees in carts. No bathrooms until the turn back at hotel. Flies all over restaurant.

Golf course conditions were less than ideal (due to weather). Hotel staff was excellent, especially Alexandre Mallet. Restaurant service was very slow. I don't quite understand charging for water at the restuarant when, as a hotel guest, the water (both sparkling and still) is available via dispenser in the hallway.
