Disappointing having stayed in other accor hotels in Budapest (Novotel opposite Parliament). Just because it is a 3 start staff don't need to act as though it is.

There was very kind young man at check in, who helped with everything, we arrived very late and went straight to bed. In the morning I discovered a dead squashed cockroach in the bathroom, that was obviously killed by someone but not even removed. Right next to the shower. In a superior more expensive room that seemed very new and clean, so that really was a shock and a surprise. I was staying with a child, but we were not able to use the shower or anything as I didn’t want him to see it and we left the room straight after waking up and having a quick breakfast, having to brush our teeth at another room. I really hope it was a unique case and the rooms get checked before people get to stay there. Kate

+ Located close to sightseeng places, metro, not very far from railway station. Breakfast is not bad. Rooms are also quite cozy and clean. There is an option of early check-in - Cups for tea/coffee at breakfast are the smallest I've ever seen in hotels. In bathroom no single hook or hanger (and no towel dryer of course) to hang towels. There is kind of shelf in the shower area but it obviously not the good place if you want your towels to stay dry or if you want just to wipe your hands after washing them. It would be nice to put in room 2 pairs of inexpensive disposable slippers and 2 bottles of water - it would cost less than 2 euro but would make people's stay much more comfortable Electric teapot with 2 cups and couple of teabags would be also a good supplement. TV is useless. There are very few channels (about 10 if I not mistaken), part is on hungarian, part is on other languages but all some kind of news channels. It would be nice to add at least couple of music channels.
