Everything was good except the AC Unit in my room: 461. After several complaints and repairs it performed very poorly. Kind of stayed with discomfort from non functioning AC Unit.

The IBIS Pattaya is a comfortable low budget option suitable for a wide range of guests. I find the tea and coffee facilities in the room handy for making a beverage for breakfast, or late evening. The beds are comfortable and basic toiletries are stocked. The negatives were that the shower ran warmer than usual water, the television has about 100 channels but most of them are either in Thai soundtrack or dubbed in Thai. One movie channel has the English soundtrack dubbed over in Thai audio with Thai subtitles! If that doesn't defy logic, I don't know what does. The pool is OK, but it's only 1.20 meters deep and even at low season with any more than five patrons in it, feels crowded. The lifts are quite slow where one feels like they're waiting a lifetime to ascend or descend a few floors.
