A nice budget hotel in Pattaya, but there are somethings to be improved

This's not my first experience at Ibis Pattaya, which is a nice budget hotel in the area. Most of functions were at my expectation. However, there're somethings must be improved. 1) The WiFi signal was unstable, although it's strength when it worked. 2) The hotel provides 2 elevators and there is an automatic alcohol hand spray in each elevator. But the spray machine in the right hand side elevator didn't work. Perhaps it's out of order or maybe just running out of alcohol, but it didn't work through 3 days of my stay so I wonder about how the hotel looks after the equipment and utilities in the hotel ? 3) On Sunday morning, when I took a lift from my 5th floor down to the lobby the lift stopped on the way at the 3rd floor to receive 3 foreigners which is shocked for me because all of them didn't wear a sanitary mask !! This means the hotel do not make strong advice nor warning enough when the guest check in that wearing a mask is a 'MUST' whenever the guest is out of the guestroom.

Please rest assured as we will take immediate action to improve in all aspects to ensure our guest feel relax as same as at the home. Further to add, the wear mask policy has been strictly imposed at the property and we are doing everything to ensure that everyone comply with rules. I am sure you have seen the signs placed all over in the hotel as well as our staff constantly asking guests to wear mask the moment we see anyone not wearing it. Thank you once again for giving us detailed information and at ibis we always take our guest comments seriously to implement our services. I hope you will see these better changes on your next visit. We always stay at Ibis Pattaya.... it’s a very clean,well run hotel with very pleasant staff. At this time with covid all staff followed rules. Only two people in lifts and hand wash everywhere. Breakfast buffet correctly run too. Gloves for buffet and tables well and area well ventilated. Car park secure and very near beach. Nothing negative to say only praise..... we will go back soon.
