This is the second time I’ve stayed at the Veranda resort hotels, once in Hua Hin and now Pattaya in the last year. When we arrived late we went to our room and which smelt damp, the reception staff were quick to change us and the room was nice. Pools, were great, would have liked a few more sunbeds out as if you got down late there was not many or any left. I had a very bad experience with one of the male waiters who was working in the pool side bar, I asked him to put some empty water bottles which were in a carrier bag in the bin as I didn’t want them to leave them around the pool and he was very rude rasing his voice and shouting to me angrily “your not supposed to bring outside food him”, I told him it was empty water bottles and I didn’t see the problem as all I wanted was for him to put these in the bin!! This made me very angry him speaking to me like this, so I went to speak to reception staff who were great as always and the manager said she would go and speak to him. Sadly this made a big impact on me this holiday as I didn’t expect to be spoken and treated like this, due to this I don’t think I will be booking to stay at the veranda resorts again, as this has put me off and left a bad experience, we loved the hotels too which is a shame.

I recently spent 3 days and 2 nights at Veranda Resort for my birthday, and it was truly a perfect getaway. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome with their warm and friendly service. ​The room offered a stunning view that made my special day more special, and I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious birthday cake they provided—it was a wonderful touch. I’m already looking forward to my next visit. Highly recommended krub.

We have long wished to experience a prime MGallery property with a reputation as large as the Veranda, in Chiangmai and Phu Quoc. We took a leap of faith to try it out in the Veranda Pattaya, confident that we would be in for a super luxurious time. But, alas, that was not to be. Our dreams were shattered. It turned out to be a huge disaster - room-wise; food-wise; service-wise. Especially, food-wise. Imagine half-board was nothing but a few leftover items - cold or lukewarm, at best. Standard black tea to go with the meal; no coffee, no, no coffee. What's worse? We had 3 guests that night; and, there was nothing much on the Menu to offer them. Imagine, it's a 5-star Accor property, with a huge Veranda reputation. Need I go on, with this review? (And, we were celebrating our birthdays - 26Feb and 01Mar.)
