This was my third stay at Mövenpick Siam Na Jomtien Pattaya, the first two were appreciated. However, this visit was a totally disappointment for room preparation and room requests. I have to repeat my request for 4-5 times from 3pm until 7.30pm for extra pillows, blankets, box napkins, towels (which I was informed upfront when I was checked in that the towels were not yet prepared but will arrange asap), also, my request to move the twin beds together, and the shower chair for my mom. Later in the evening, I called asking again and they said the blankets were out and no more left in the hotel, why was that?? I requested since 3pm but late evening they said I could not have more blankets as they were unavailable?? Until 7.30pm when my mom wanted to take shower but no shower chair and no towels and that boost my anger up high. I was shouting out to the front desk and the housekeepers and that how I have got every thing ready and in place, including the extra blankets. Is this how thing should work in such a Five stars hotel?? I also repeat the issues to the front desk once again when I was checking out for such a poor service on this visit and I hope she will extend my words to check for the problems. Please make sure that you have rechecked what had happened that day as you really need high improvement on this and never have such incidents ever happened again!

Traveled as a couple for 3 nights and loved the property. Beach front, easy to swim in the sea, and good food. The hotel had a free shuttle to the city 2 times a day. However, the shuttle wasn’t available on weekends. Grab is available but usually takes a 10 minute wait time as the property is far off the city. No restaurants, shops, or convenient stores in walking distance. Best option for travelers looking to relax and enjoy the resort activities which is what we went for. Thanks to the team for the room upgrade and the great service.

I chose the movenpick as our wedding venue which was supposed to be all in at 10k. I ended up spending double this with a ton of mistakes and horrible communication from Kate. 1. Kate’s rehearsal didn’t cover half the ceremony so no one was prepared. 2. Kate forgot our fire show and made it show up an hour late costing us 3k extra baht for the photographers 3. Kate forgot the alcohol for our event and didn’t reconfirm anything. 4. Kate booked a second night at the hotel and didn’t tell me it wasn’t included. 5. Kate’s musicians left an hour early from our event 6. The musicians entirely messed up our first dance and didn’t sing our song 7. The flower arrangements were all incorrect 8. Kate didn’t provide support staff which was promised. All and all I felt lied to and that Kate was incredibly lazy with our big day. At the very least for all of her failures I expected a discount and the bill ended up coming out more expensive than promised. I’d love a call from the general manager to discuss a refund or some sort.
