“Convenient Location, but Thin Walls and Unmotivated Staff Detract from the Experience”

I chose the Ibis Hotel Sathorn primarily for its convenient location, just 750 meters from MRT Lumpini. The hotel also offers a complimentary tuk-tuk service on the weekdays to MRT Lumpini or BTS Sala Daeng, available every hour from 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM, though I had hoped they would offer it every 30 minutes for added convenience. The check-in process was smooth, and I was given a room on the 6th floor with a view of the hotel's entrance. However, the thin walls were a downside, as I could clearly hear conversations from the neighboring room, which made it difficult to sleep, especially when the guests next door were loud. In terms of price, the hotel is moderately priced for Bangkok, and the rooms are new. There are also convenience stores and ATMs nearby, which adds to the overall convenience. Unfortunately, on the day before my check-out, I have experienced that the front desk staff seemed tired and unmotivated when I inquired about a delivery I was expecting, which left a poor impression. If the staff are feeling too tired or disinterested, perhaps they should take a break rather than compromise on service quality.
