The Hotel and the location is excellent but we were provided the room with accessibility features with a big chair in the shower area leaving hardly any space to stand. Is it standard for all rooms. Also, being an Accor Silver member, the Priority Check IN and Early check In was not offered.

As for early check-in, we do offer this service; however, it is subject to availability on the day of arrival. We regret that we were unable to accommodate this request during your stay. Very pleasant stay in a good location, with plenty of options to get to around Edinburgh City and its surroundings

2 days prior to arrival received an email checking if breakfast was required which I had already booked. Pressed to accept and noticed the price had gone lower. At check-in questioned and was told no the original price stood after waiting 30 mins for an answer and backwards and forwards to the front desk. Not very customer service friendly and why send an email with a lower price and then back track. If anyone is booking, book without breakfast and then 2 days prior to arrival add at the lower rate. The amount is only £17 however its the principle.

We did not change breakfast prices in the hotel, it could have been any of our distribution partner which case I would to address it to make sure they do not mislead our guests. Apart from the awful sweatie smell of feet in room 146 ...everything was satisfactory. A fresh room requires the windows to be open on first entry. That was no new carpet smell...that was perspiration from rotten feet of the previous person who used the room. Otherwise all.was fine...
