The hotel is only steps away from Darling Harbour and a 6 minute easy walk to Wynyard Railway station. The staff are all friendly and efficient. The rooms are basic, but clean and comfortable with an easy to use shower in the bathroom. Comfortable bed. One critisism is the light blind which makes it impossible to make the room really dark for sleeping. Very reasonable price. We'd certainly stay again.

The hotel front desk staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very nice and appreciated. The room was comfortable but could have been cleaner. There was dust buildup behind the doors and had clearly been neglected for some time. Chairs were extremely uncomfortable. The cleaning staff really presented as disliking their jobs and were really not into cleaning. They were observed washing the glasses in our bathroom sink with just bare hands and no soap. Location was good with lots of sites and restaurants close by.

Good staff service, attention and care by the staff for budget standard. Comparable and in some ways better than mid tier hotels.
