My stay was frustrating as housekeeping failed to replace towels, coffee, milk and it took 45 minutes to get towels delivered

Payed for a welcome package which was meant to be fruit platter and cheeses and other bits and pieces Gave me 2 macaroons and 2 dry chocolate balls instead Then I had to also remind them I had ordered a bottle of champagne that had been sent to someone else’s room. Never got what I paid for Was very disappointed from the start

Good position in Olympic park handy to everything, nice welcoming lobby with friendly staff and easy underground parking. We enjoyed the pillow menu, selecting feather which was delivered to our room, room service was adequate. Lovely spacious bathroom with plenty of towels, the bathrobes are a quite tired actually and need updating. Downside was the absence of a coffee machine in the room, it states on the booking blurb “Tea/coffee maker” Sadly this turns out to be a small kettle and single serve instant sachets with only enough for 1 cup each (which in hind-site was a small mercy) As a seasoned coffee drinker this was a big letdown. I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect a pod machine and quality herbal tea selection in a five star hotel. The “special event” tariff of close to $800 for a night was a little rich.
