I stay in the Gatwick Sofitel a lot for work. The staff are all very friendly, but special mention for Velino who always looks after me - especially when my wife comes to visit for a day or two. Thanks Velino!

Barker2473 TripAdvisor review

Check in was good, room good but very cold. Had the heating on full for over 2 hours but it was still cold. Called reception who brought up a portable heater which did the job. We upgraded to a luxury room with lounge access. This proved to be a waste of money. We popped into the lounge at about 5pm and it was very un-inviting and like our room very cold. We made 2 flat white coffees from the machine in the lounge which were lukewarm. The lounge was empty and it’s obvious why.. We did go down to reception the report our issues but they didn’t seem interested. In future we will save some money and book the premier inn next door.
